From Panicphobia's Website:
Panicphobia a rock-quintett from Aarhus, Denmark. They play what they like to call playfull rock, which is a mix between progressive and alternative. The music has not been “written” in the more traditional sense, but is sort of collectively composed. Emerging musical ideas have been added a healthy mix of theory combined with observations and intuition along with musical experiments or improvisations.

Farkus is a Chicago based fresh rock band who's debut album "Thought You Should Know" is getting rave reviews and already placing on internet top albums lists. After listening to the album, Wildy's World wrote an exceptionally positive review saying that "Thought You Should Know" draws on the melodic traditions of The Beatles, great pop hooks and an indie/post-punk spirit that is at the heart of modern Rock N Roll. (...) Farkus shows two very distinct sides on Thought You Should Know. One is the compelling, thoughtful singer-songwriter; the other is the big, arena rock star band with impressive hooks, strong melodies and a sense of pop timing. Both hearts beat within this band, and as they are they will do very well for themselves.

During Art Brut’s show in Toronto in late 2005, frontman Eddie Argos demanded that each and every member of the audience form a band by the time they returned. Instruments were scraped together, and The Craft Economy had their first practice the next weekend.
The Toronto based band — whose members originally hail from Guelph, Montreal, Vancouver and PEI — has a sound inspired by '70s punk rock and '80s new wave, and is guided by a love of tight, well-crafted and danceable pop songs.

Borea three member band from Europe (creating in English, residing in France, with some Swedish roots). They describe their music as a clash between britpop and baroque rock'n'roll, but for the music-genre challenged (like me!) indie pop-rock is an adequate description. The songs are well arranged, vocals are exactly where they should be (at least for my ear!) and extremely catchy after a few listens.
The torrent contains only five songs, but if you love the music, the full album is available on their website for 6 euros.
