GT Racing: Motor Academy Free+ from Gameloft has all the ingredients that make racing games fun: cool tracks, cool cars, fast paced and easy to use controls. Unlike other free racing games, there’s plenty of cars here (more than 100) and manufacturers so the game never gets old.
Before you can take part in any of the big races, you need to get a C level license so you go through challenges and do some turning and breaking etc, which is great in preparing you for the tougher races ahead. You can get specific types of cars based on the license you have, and this is a nice feature as it gives you something to aim and race for.
The more races you win, the more currency you get to upgrade your car and drive in more tracks. Simply use the WASD keys to drive your car, and it’s also very easy to shift gears. The race tracks are beautiful as are the cars and it’s too difficult. If you’re a beginner and still having trouble automatic braking can be turned on.
One of the most common complaints about mobile racing games is that they are too short, thankfully GT Racing: Motor Academy Free+ races are long, and the sound of the engine is pleasantly realistic. Although you have the option of paying real money to upgrade your car, you can get those upgrades by simply playing the game.
GT Racing: Motor Academy Free+ is an impressive racing game and the amount of customizing you can do is extensive. Once you get to a higher level, you can choose from a wide range of cars like Jaguars, Aston Martins, BMWs and more.
