The Giant Boulder of Death is exactly that: a game where you control a large boulder with a goal of crushing people, objects and everything else in sight. In a way it’s like an endless runner variant with a lot of goodies in this Adult Swim game that you’ll enjoy. And what’s not to like about a game thats main objective is creative destruction.
In the game you control the boulder as it rolls down through cottages, forests, vehicles and tanks. The production value is very high and the grainy effect actually enhances everything. The music is just as good and the operatic sounds when your boulder is destroyed by spikes chasms or mines is amusing.
The mechanics of Giant Boulder of Death is similar to other endless runner games with the usual gems and coins you will use for upgrades and enhancers. There are IAPs here but you don’t need to shell out money because there are a lot of free coins and gems in the game so you don’t feel cheated.
Giant Boulder of Death is integrated into Facebook so your score is posted and you can see how well your friends are doing in the game. But the great thing is that when you pass the score of one of your friends, a billboard with their face on it appears and you can smash it, a really cool feature. Overall, Giant Boulder of Death is a very fun game, and the controls are very easy to learn. There’s a lot to enjoy in this one.
