Castle Clash is a base building strategy game from developer IGG. In this strategy game you build up an army, attack your enemies, research technology and gather resources and more. It sounds familiar yes, but the gameplay and the graphics are very distinct from others out there.
Castle Clash starts off with a tutorial so you can learn the basics of the game. Once you’re done with that it’s time to recruit some troops and build structures. You can play several levels, one of which includes taking on a pre-built base that will show you how to learn to play the game.
Just like other base building strategy games you can upgrade units and structures the longer you play. The nice thing about Castle Clash is you don’t have to wait forever to upgrade since there are a lot of resources available early on. This means you won’t have to worry about gathering resources too much. Assembling the structures takes a bit of time but it’s enjoyable, and you can rearrange the structures by dragging them around, a nice feature.
Castle Clash supports multiplayer, and really this is the most efficient way to gather more resources. Thanks to the way the game is set up, you can look for low level opponents and gain experience before moving on and challenging the tougher players. Finally, Castle Clash graphics is first rate, and the gameplay brings about that sense of urgency that you won’t find in other building strategy games. It’s these features that make Castle Clash more than just another base building game.
