Red Bit Escape is a puzzle game from RedBit Games with a deceptively simple premise, and that’s to escape all the blue squares around you and allow the Red Bit to survive the longest time possible. It sounds easy enough but the intricacies in the game make it more challenging.
Once you’ve downloaded the app you’ll see that the mechanics are easy to figure out. You just drag the red square away using your finger, all the while making sure you don’t hit any blues because they will kill the red bit. In addition you also have to steer clear of the blue laser force field since that’s also lethal, making navigation challenging. However, the opening stages of the game are easy, giving you time to get used to the condition and environment.
What makes Red Bit Escape such a tough game is that the blue squares will be partly covered by your finger. What this means is you need to develop your ability to predict trajectories and recognize patterns as well. But don’t think for a moment that you’ll need special training to play the game, because you don’t. Just play the game a few times and you’ll get the hang out of it.
Red Bit Escape also has a leaderboard where you can keep track of your score and how well you’re doing compared to your friends. Overall, the game may seem like a simple one, but sometimes the simplest ones are the most effective.
