Transport Empire is a free to play title from Game Insight, and if you’ve played classic transport games on computers before, the mechanics will be familiar. Here you take responsibility for the logistics and transport services for a particular location, but it has been designed for mobile and works well.

Transport Empire also requires you to build an infrastructure so you can serve passengers and people. As the area you service grows, you’ll need to make sure that you can service companies as well, which will lead to further expansion. In the game, mines and towns take up pretty much the same location on the maps. As a player you use the trains to service both mines and towns and deliver goods.

The more materials your trains can process, the larger the towns become. In addition, Transport Empire requires you to enter contracts with mines. Each contract requires resources, needs time and provides something in return as well. Transport Empire isn’t hard to figure out, and the nice graphics will definitely keep you engaged. While there are a lot of things you have to keep an eye on, it’s a lot of fun and even addictive.

If you need some coal, just get a contract with a coal mine, and you can do the same with wood and steel. Those two you will definitely need to create more tracks. Transport Empire is really a good game, and while it takes a page out of classic transport train simulation titles, it’s got its own identity.
