Do you know what websites your child goes to? If you’re concerned that he/she might be viewing inappropriate material, check out Abeona Parental Control, which gives you complete control over your child’s mobile activities. He / she can still use it, but you can block off what you deem is an inappropriate content.
There are two apps, the Abeona Parental Control for your own Android device and the Device Monitor for your child’s device. First you download the Parental Control app on your mobile and register (it’s free). Tap the Connect Child Device option and that produces a link to your account.
This link can be transmitted to your child’s device email, or if you install the Device Monitor in your child’s mobile. Next, activate the Device Monitor as per the instructions given and you’ll be able to monitor how your child uses his/her mobile. From your Android device you can see what apps and websites are being accessed.
Abeona allows you to block any app on the child’s mobile as well as social networking apps, and you can limit their access to hangouts and other types of online messaging as well. There’s also an option to block games as well. The options provided here are fully customizable so if want them to have access to specific games or websites, you can make adjustments.
Overall, Abeona works very well as a parental control app, and it’s easy to use as well. If you have a young child who uses an Android smartphone or tablet, this will come in handy.
