Funimate from AVCR is a video editing app that lets you create video edits from your videos and images – allowing you to add special effects and music to your clips too. Furthermore you can share your creations on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
In order to start with the app you need to sign in with your email, Facebook or Twitter account. When you log in you’ll see the Featured page with all the latest videos that have been posted, and you just swipe to see those you’re following and the other videos. Tap the search button and you’ll see Top Sounds, Top Users and also hashtags of the most popular posts on Funimate.
To create a video, press the plus button and you will see three options, Create Challenge, Make Video and Add Sound. If you tap Make a Video you will be presented with options to shoot a video and edit a video. Choose shoot a video to start a new clip and you’ll see categories for songs you can use.
There are several effects you can add for your clips such as a “ghost” version of yourself in a clip, mixing the music, etc. Once you’re done editing the clip the app will render it and play. Funimate is easy to use, and even if you don’t have any experience with video editing you will figure it out in no time.
Whether you are into a making funny music clips or just want to make slideshows of your summer vacation pictures, Funimate gets the job done, and the built-in camera is more than capable of taking good pictures.
