Through the years, Opera has managed to develop a solid following among Internet users because of its easy to use interface and practical features. With the latest version out, its users should increase even more. If you’re not happy with your current browser and want something new, give this a shot as it’s clean and fast.

The first thing you’ll notice is how clean the interface is, with just the address bar and the search box at the top as well as back, forward, reload and home buttons at the left. This in itself is a plus if you have a small screen as the controls won’t eat up your screen.

If you want to look something up just type in the Google search bar and the browser the results quickly. It seems like the programmers did quite a bit of tweaking with the code since Opera loads pages much faster than before, which is always a good thing. If you find a website you like, bookmark it with just one click.

The integrated email client is just as useful because the interface is clean, great if you get a lot of emails and web-based programs don’t cut it. If you open a lot of tabs when browsing, you’ll be pleased to know that you can now arrange them vertically which is actually very convenient.

The interface hasn’t been changed much from the previous versions so there’s no steep learning curve, and if you like to keep your hands on the keyboard, good news since all aspects of browsing has a shortcut. Too tired to read? No problem as Opera will read text for you. Simply a great browser.
