Fortunately, the GoodRX app allows you to compare the prices of various medications so you can get the cheapest price. The app is very easy to use and can be a real money – and life – saver.
GoodRX is very easy to use. Just type the name of the drug, or type the condition and medicines for it will show up. Prices for these medicines in different locations will appear. This way you will be able to compare the costs and buy from the most affordable pharmacy.
GoodRX has an option to create a free account. You do not need to create one to use the app’s features, but doing so gives you access to medication coupons and price alerts, or these reasons it is to your benefit to open a free account.
The Settings menu allows you to change many options including refill and alert reminders. If you’re concerned about privacy, the iPhone version of the app lets you add a TouchID or a passcode.
After you choose a drug, all the pharmacies that have it are displayed along with the price and distance from your location. Tap to select the pharmacy you want and then the discount info wil be shown. Now you just give this to the pharmacist. You can save drugs and medications and get alerts of changes in price. The app also provides new updates on the drugs you added to your profile.
