Tiara Wiles: RE:Dux

Tiara Wiles has been around the scene for quite a while. Since 2008, she's released a record for almost every year and she's showing no sign of stopping just yet. Raised by parents who love music as well, Tiara has explored and experimented with her music. Ever since she first released her debut EP, A Rosenberg Oddisee back in 2008, her music has evolved to include a variety of genres. For her latest effort, Re: Dux, her sound is a bit more dance/electro pop oriented yet it still bears that signature Tiara touch.

GDaddie: Ride With Me

Finally rewarding his listeners with a new release; GDaddie is back with his latest record, Ride With Me. Creating a more energetic mix of electronic, blues and funk, this recent compilation is a great follow up to two of GDaddie's album: The Truth (2011) and Gone (2009.) Ride With Me is released under Memory Format label this time and marks their 12th one so far. It's a funky mix of sounds that showcases the artists' psychedelic infused electronic taste. All 13 tracks are special and feature a little bit of the many influences that has shaped GDaddie's career so far.

First Time's a Charm is a free compilation culled together by online indie music site/zine, Musical Mathematics. The site does reviews, features, promotions, and sells various music from up and coming indie rock bands. What started as a small little place for bringing and exposing indie music has grown into quite a collective. The site now boasts various writers, designers and contributors; helping share and bring internet fans a taste of indie music heaven. The site pretty much reviews and tackles different bands from different countries but they also strive to bring some of their local Leeds talents a chance to shine.

Produced by LA based K L S H (Klash), this musical compilation by various artists surround perspectives on love and relationships with people, society and situations. Dope Girl by Mat Randol and Javonte is in every way sensual. Potent rap verses and ferocious beats deliver a very tight track.

Ivan Dubsky x Great Skies: Sessions Vol. 1 EP

The idea of creating an album with an intent to relax has already made its mark on the music scene. However, Ivan Dubsky & Great Skies' Session Vol. 1 EP is not your typical ambient collection. Hailing from UK, Ivan Dubsky and Great Skies are two ambient music producers and old-school friends who decided to make some music together. Released last June 22, this 4-track collection legs up ambient garage on a higher level.

Hudson: Eastward

Eastward by Hudson is just the right music you need after going through a barrage of parties & other fast paced craziness thanks to the Holidays. Contained within the compilation is some of the finest and most melodic pieces you'll hear. The band is made up of duo, John Boswell and Will Crowle. With a sound that resembles a sweet and comforting pat on the back, the songs on the record tell the story of a man who goes on a journey to rescue his brother from captivity.

Thula Borah: Live Secretly

After releasing their highly acclaimed debut album, Mind River Matter; Thula Borah brings in another anticipated EP in, Live Secretly. This Glasgow quartet is made up of trio, Lloyd, Matt and Kev. Building up a post rock, melancholic sound, the boys capture a quiet uneasiness in their songs that would make you feel as if you're deep down an empty well looking up. Despite being low key, the band's songs have received airplay from BBC One, Radio North Angus and Amazing Radio to name a few.

Mouth’s Cradle: Clark Kent

As if prophesying their own big break, The Next Big Thing became an instant hit for cheeky electro/hip hop and pop duo, Mouth's Cradle. (The boys have easily hit the 100k mark at the Frostclick blog alone. ) They're now back with a brand new record, bringing in tow their brand of lighthearted, sonically arresting and vocally invigorating sound. Composed of Syracuse grads, Kevin "Mouf" Moufadus and Brandon "Master Rogers" Linn; Mouth's Cradle carefully weaves the threads of art and pop as well as hip hop and dance.
