One of my favorite indie album find of late, Pat Parra's Lowered is a beautiful and convincing debut record from the San Jose native.

Released on BandCamp last June 2011, the album plays host to a multitude of genres and moods. You'll get a bit of 90s alternative, R&B, soul, anti-folk and even a few heavier indie rock pieces. All of which float around before successfully coalescing into sweeping guitars, moody electronics and intriguing vocals.

The album was mastered at Different Fur by Patrick Brown and shortly after the release, Pat debuted a music video for the single, Forget Your Love.

Perhaps one of my most favorite netlabels online, Aaahh Records is now back in full force. This time they're bringing in tow something extra special for their listeners.

The gang spent one entire week renting a house in Denmark and inviting all of the bands in their label to come and visit; bring their instruments and simply jam as well as create beautiful music together. The result is the compilation you see before you, The Denmaaahhrk Compilation.

Expect nothing but fun times and great music in this album. You'll hear from the likes of Keyboard Rebel, Bryyn and Entertainment for the Braindead (some of which have been featured on the blog.)

A quick Google search about Saint Bernard (the band) and you'll most likely end up with not much of useful information. It's too bad since it would be nice to find out more about them and their sound.

Despite the lack of info, their music is enough of a treat for those who take a chance. The Spirit of the Stairs is a lovely collection of indie pop rock tracks. There are 10 songs you can enjoy and each one is accompanied with a lovely acoustic vibe.

Perfect for quiet mornings or if you're feeling a bit reflective; it's easy to pop on the album and simply let the melodies take you away.

Tales is a short 4-track EP from a trio of lads from West Yorkshire, England. Creating a flurry of indie math rock in a span of more or less 15 minutes, the band's debut is laden with some fun and catchy tunes worth taking note of.

Made up of Tom, Liam and Sean; Beware Wolf strays away from hiding underneath instruments and instead cleverly mixes varying tempo, beats and smart lyrics to round up their cuts. It's this eclectic side coupled with the bands pop sensibilities that make each song in this record quite enjoyable.

Philly based duo, Revolution, I Love You (R,ILY) comes out with their debut compilation We Choose to Go to the Moon. Despite being newcomers, they've been making quite the impression with their indie-electronic rock sound; motivating listeners to find out more about them after just one listen.

Their 10-track album is filled with beautiful layers of synths, pianos and vocals. It's hard to believe sometimes that there's just two of them in the group instead of a full-on 3 or 5 piece. We Choose to Go to the Moon is essentially a hodge podge of pop, electronica, pop music and dance rolled into one lovely package.

Rouge Valley, an indie rock band from Minneapolis, MN, definitely does not disappoint when it comes to releasing beautiful melodies dressed in rich drums, loud guitars, and vocals that will get you hooked to the speakers for hours at the time. Composed of Chis Koza, Peter Sieve, Luke Anderson, Linnea Mohn, and Joey Kantor, the band released four amazing albums back in 2010, and it seems as if the sounds are here to stay.

Crater Lake is the first work in a series and gives us a perfect introduction into the narrative story that unfolds throughout. Feel like giving it a try? Well than, hit that download button as Rogue Valley and FrostClick have teamed up to bring you this little treat, all for free!

The Acoustic EP is a stripped down compilation from a promising young artist named Gracie Mitchell. By young, I mean, she's only 13 years old! It's hard to wrap your head around it though when you listen to her voice. She exudes this beautiful deep vocals that you would think belongs to Regina Spektor or even Adele.

With a soulful voice, she sings songs about life, from best friends to mean girls. Armed with a guitar and some authentic songwriting, you'll find yourself drawn to this young singer's music in no time.
