Girl Talk: Feed the Animals

Girl Talk is the stage name of musician/mash-up DJ Gregg Gillis and 'Feed the Animals' is his fourth LP he released on Illegal Art. Gillis is very well known for his inspired mixing style - he uses dozens, if not hundreds of samples from different songs, often without the artists' permission, to create a new composition.

Kanchi: The Ducky Dog

It is a second album by this French DJ. It offers a nicely blended mixture of Breakbeat, Hip Hop & Electronica. Full of energy, with varied tempos and textures, it's perfect to listen to while you work or study. My favorite are 'Nasty boy' and 'Fanboyz' - Enjoy!

The Wired CD: Creative Commons Music

What musicians are saying is that true creativity needs to be open, fluid, and alive. When it comes to copyright, they are pro-choice. Here are 16 songs that encourage people to play with their tunes, not just play them. This CD was given away free with the November 2004 issue of Wired Magazine, and is permitted to be freely shared and sampled for non-commercial purposes under the terms of the Creative Commons licenses placed on the music.

Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I-IV

We’re very proud to present a new collection of instrumental music, Ghosts I-IV. Almost two hours of music recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I-IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain. Now that we’re no longer constrained by a record label, we’ve decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them.

Grace Valhalla: Wire

Grace Valhalla is a young, fresh female French DJ & composer. To date, she's released four albums - "Wire" is her third one. The first of Grace Valhalla's albums, "psychopathethic", is more of a rock album, second entitled "PEAK~" is definitely more on the electronic side, while the third, "Wire", is a mix between the first two, and just like the previous ones contains some melancholic and calm music. Her newest album, "summerCamp", has more of a pop feel to it. Make sure to check out all four of them!
