A few days ago we found out about Kutiman through a post on TechCrunch and we feel it'd bring us a lot of bad karma if we didn't share such a good find with you.
Kutiman (Ophir Kutiel) is a musician and music producer from Israel that has created a seven song Music/Video Album called "ThruYOU" which is composed entirely out of mixed unrelated YouTube clips that consisted of people playing music, making a noise, or singing.

Drunk Souls is a totally independent fresh Reggae/Rock/Funk band from France. Most of their songs sound chill & fun, but there are definitely some dark compositions. The lyrics are always very insightful, meaningful and strong, oftentimes talking about tolerance and peace. I find the ever-present bass and the clean vocals to intensify the experience even more, but check them out for yourself.

Duels is a British indie rock band from Leeds. They formally started playing together in 2005, but became quite popular quite recently after The Guardian described them as "one of Britains most ambitious groups". The group released their first album in July 2006. "The Bright Lights And What I Should Have Learned" was very highly reviewed and named Album of the Week in The Sunday Times. "The Barbarians Move In" is the bands second album. Released February 14th 2008, Duels is giving it out free as a digital download on the albums first anniversary.

From time to time the label releases free samples of their music available for download for 30 days at a time. "EMO IS AWESOME / EMO IS EVIL" is the label's newest sampler of some of the hardcore indie rising stars. If you like hard-rock, this compilation might be a great way for you to discover some new artists. If you are not a big fan, don't be afraid to try something new - the album has it's lighter moments and the lyrics might surprise you very pleasantly (+ it is free after all
