Developed by BIT-101, this developer has done a commendable job by integrating the finest architecture structure within such a casual game.

The game is so straightforward that there is nothing to talk about until it has been played. So, what does the player actually need to do? Well, nothing apart from tilting the device from time-to-time depending on the situation and saving the stick model before he is crushed to pulp.

The recent new update has the whole game written in OpenGL for improved performance and response over the previous version, while retaining the same basic game looks and even responses like the original. The user-interface has also received a new shiny look with the inclusion of a new Ninja level as well as a few other advanced levels.

Overall, Falling Balls is a great game and will keep players hooked endlessly without welcoming the boredom factor. A big thumbs-up to the developer and their initiative for bringing such a well integrated game for free on iOS.

Doxillion Document Converter from NCH Software converts documents to and from DOC, DOCX, HTML, PDF RTF, TXT, and WPD formats one by one or in batches of thousands.

Use the menu at the top, the right-click menu or simply drag and drop directly into the list. Then choose the output folder and type of format, press convert and away you go. You'll have even large documents in seconds.

Doxillion also converts pictures from different formats but add-ons were required for my little job (i.e. jpg to png) . These popped up quickly and free, and were just as easy to use.

Just a note, the software converts DOC to PDFs but not the other way around, you will get a message that it's having trouble converting pictures.

With all conversion Doxillion quickly processed the batch (drag a whole folder of docs in) and saved the output to the selected output drive.

It couldn't be simpler with handy option like Burn to Disc, Suite, Remove Files and Add Files right in front of you in the menu across the top. There's also a good HTML-based Help file (not that you'll need it) as well as buttons labeled Burn to Disc and Suite. Clicking Burn to Disc will download and install a disc-burning utility, while Suite opens the NCH Software Suite, a selection of the developer's titles.

Ultima 4 is the fourth in the Ultima RPG franchisee. It won numerous applauds for its shift in gameplay compared to the existing Ultima series and with a much better, concrete story-line. The game follows the protagonist's struggle to understand and practice the Eight Virtues, that is, 1. Honesty, 2. Compassion, 3. Valor, 4. Justice, 5. Honor, 6. Sacrifice, 7. Spirituality and 8. Humility. Once the eight virtues are understood well by the character, collecting all the needed artifacts and entering the dungeon called Stygian Abyss, the player gains access to the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom, thus becoming an Avatar.

Moreover, players also have the option to interact with non-playing characters from time-to-time. Unlike previous versions, where the NPCs just gave a one-lined canned answer, in Ultima IV the interaction not only is vast, but players can also choose the topic of conversation for appropriate and accurate answers.

Developed by Pumpkin Studios and published byEidos, this game is worth the time invested in total gameplay. It was originally released as a commercial offering for Windows PC and Playstation in 1999, but on December 6, 2004, the source code and most of the data was published under the GNU (General Public License). This made all gamers around the globe very, very happy.

The game puts players in the midst of the 21st Century, when almost the entire civilization has been wiped out due to nuclear strikes. Most of the survivors encountered are organized in groups in order to fight-for-survival with all their might; among them one group called themselves "The Project". The Project is formed by people who have undertaken the job of rebuilding their civilization using pre-war technology.

Coming to the most important aspect and that being Gameplay, Warzone 2100 is very fluid and has a very nice touch to it on the whole (using the iViS 3D graphics engine developed by Sam Kerbeck of Eidos Interactive Ltd. ).The game world is mapped by a grid, vehicles tilt to meet hilly terrain, gun projectiles can be realistically blocked by steep mountains. The camera is free-moving and can zoom in and out, rotate, and pan up or down while navigating the battlefield, making the whole gameplay feel great and easy to navigate.

The game is one of the best open-source games available in the gaming scene now. Coming from a developer like Eidos, Warzone 2100 certainly lives up their gaming poweress and action hungry gamers will really not find reasons to complain. Making it a GNU release, the game is now playable on Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

It might not seem like much but in essence it does allow the user to create simple games from start to finish just like this one, Space Blaster; all right on your computer without any programming knowledge necessary. Like the paid versions you get Box2D Physics Engine, Intuitive User Interface, you can upload it to browsers like Chrome or play offline. Another little extra I love is putting it on Facebook and going viral.

Time to gear up and take up a fight - true street-fighter style. One Must Fall:2097 takes the name very, and we mean very seriously. The game is a combat-oriented computer treat programmed by Diversions Entertainment.

Published by Epic MegaGames, the game is really nice to play and has a very old-school feeling to it, making it worthy for a place on your desktop.

The game was initially brought to the public in a Beta version on May 18, 1993 with a full version released just a year later by Epic MegaGames. Unlike the typical combat games, One Must Fall:2097 centers around Human Assisted Robots (H.A.R). The H.A.Rs are piloted through a physical and mental link to the human pilots; something that is never shown on the screen and neither does it affect the gameplay in any measure. There is an option to choose between 11 different H.A.Rs with their own attributes and fighting styles.

The surroundings are also very realistic, so every arena contains some kind of danger. For example, one arena sports spikes that pierce through the walls and can easily bring more than just heavy damage to the robot. Another arena has a floating sphere, which can trigger a fireball from the floor under the opponent.

There is an eleventh H.A.R in the game known as NOVA, which features in the final battle story mode and can be used in-game only in the Tournament mode or through a special cheat which unlocks it instantaneously. Each H.A.R in the game features three special attacks, only NOVA and SHADOW have four special attacks. Accompanied with a "scrap" and "destruction" move that helps in earning bonus points and in some rare cases, unlock secrets.

Overall, a great combat game with a twist. If you loved Tekken, Mortal Combat and the Street Fighter likes, One Must Fall:2097 will really be your favorite in the coming days.
