Click.to app reduces the number of clicks you make when pasting something. You can ctr-C something, and then the app appears. The locations and options become available. Suppose you�re reading and want to find the meaning of a word. What you do is hit ctr-C and head to Wikipedia.

Another example is the following. You can use the app to post a quote from an e-book in your Twitter account. After marking the quote, press ctr-C and select the Twitter icon. You can do that with a host of other popular websites and apps. The number of clicks you save can be tremendous. If you spend a lot of time sharing and sending data, this app is for you.

The same procedure applies if you want to post a picture on Facebook. You can do the same with Google, Gmail, Excel, PDF, Word, Outlook, Evernote, Google Translate and so on. Click.to can be used for email attachments. Sometimes we forget where our attachments are. This app ensures that won�t happen. If you bump into a foreign word, just click to Google Translate. You can do the same with Amazon and EBay if you want to shop.

The possibilities are endless. Click.to can be used for a lot of different applications. Aside from the apps mentioned, others included are Flickr, Google Maps, Simplenote, and Blogger. Any new element you work with can be added easily. In other words, there is no limit to its expandability.
Click.to app is only 1 MB. Once installed, it is integrated into your system. It is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP and the Mac.

Working with all of our promo artists has been a true pleasure and a lesson in determination and will to succeed. Most of them are truly independent, working solo to write, record & promote their music. It takes a special type of a person to pierce through the millions of wanna-bes & be noticed in todays music business. We think that the artists we’ve promoted are truly on a verge of making it big! And that doesn’t mean getting “signed” any more [although a few of them already did..] – that means having millions of fans around the world who will be there sharing the heck out of their creative commons licensed music, contributing big to their Kickstarter campaigns for new albums, buying their limited edition signed merchandise and coming to their concerts.

Think of Mendeley Desktop as a social network for serious academic researchers and professionals. By joining the network you can review, critique, edit and post academic research. It is not just an interactive network; it is a research tool and reference manager.

To use Mendeley, you need to sign up for a free account. Your first name, last name and email address are required. You can download the free software after registration is complete. There is a setup wizard to guide you. You will receive a confirmation email. Click and you will gain access to the Dashboard. From the Dashboard you can go to People, Groups, My Library Papers and the other options.

You can start using it. You can add your PDF files, research papers and notes. The interface makes it easy to use all the tools at your disposal. On the network you will have access to materials posted by your fellow researchers, technical databases, scientific and medical papers.

Mendeley makes it easy to share information with other researchers. Information is synced on mobile and desktop computers. The program is easy to use thanks to its navigation panel and toolbars. The interface is similar to an email client. You can use them to sync data and folders.

The toolbar buttons consist of Sync Library, Create Folder and Add Documents, all of which are self-explanatory. You can drag and drop documents for easy arrangements. There are video tutorials, Twitter and Facebook accounts to help new users. Of course you can ask other users for advice on how to use the software. If you are serious about research, this is something you ought to check out.

Snappy Screen Capture

Snappy screen capture grabs an image of your desktop, a selected region, an object or an application window, or even an entire web page you are currently viewing.

The in-software options include desktop capture, selected window capture, object and selection capture. Clicking the Start button opens up the Event window and you are ready to go.

You can set Time Capture (take screenshot after regular interval), Mouse Capture (capture screen at every mouse event) and Keyboard Capture (capture screen at every keyboard event).

You can even save chosen images under the Images menu, than Export images as BMP, JPEG, PNG, PDF, XML and AVI, save all pictures in a single PDF file or send them as email attachments.

If all that capturing and saving was not enough, Snappy lets you apply filters such as gaussian smooth, mosaic, mono, or spray, rotate, resize, emboss, twist, drop shadow and more. You can even add various annotations to your screen capture including text and shapes.

Snappy Screen Capture can also be installed as a portable product – place Snappy on a removable drive, plug it into another computer and directly run the file.

Snappy works on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. It a simple capture software with handy extras.

The Spirit Engine 2

Do you feel it’s about time for some old-school 2D action? Yes, me too. So here it is, an indie RPG that provides an exciting gameplay with very decent graphics. Spirit Engine 2 is the sequel to the original Spirit Engine released in November of 2003. The sequel, however, features a whole new world, new characters, revamped graphics, and an all new game engine. Players who played the orignal version will certainly experience an overall better gameplay.

The Spirit Engine 2 was developed by Natomics Studio under Mark Play, who also drew, wrote and programmed the entire game; depicting a fantasy world with evil nemesis and various hurdles that come in the way of the main characters.

The entire game plot revolves around an extensive map that houses nine distinct chapters. Players can initially choose from a grid of nine different party members, with 3 per class and personality type. Players have the freedom to choose any class of character they decide, so it can be either Knight, Marksman, or a priest. There are a total of 9 player characters and 2 rare characters in-game.

Players are also put in a place called Lereftain which is under a peace treaty with the neighboring Yaegara nation. The continent of Medea is controlled by the tentacled, psychic Rakari, who is accepted by most humans, including the Lereftese Parliament, but some doubt his motives due to his mysterious behavior patterns. The Rakari also function as a peacekeeping force by removing criminals from the population. The three characters are brought together after witnessing an unexplained murder by a cult called the Keepers, and set out to discover the actual motive of the Keepers’. In the process, they discover a political plan inclined to wage a war between the two countries.

The Spirit Engine 2 has been developed in such a way, that the entire battle system now functions in real time with improved interface, greater control over characters and action synchronization controls for more realistic battles. Also, characters attack automatically. Battle can be easily configured to speed up, slow down, or paused according to the players choice.

Overall, the game is great and can provide an awesome relief from the conventional HD gaming experienced these days. The specs required for the game are very basic and any new age PC can just blaze through it, providing a lag-free gameplay throughout the play-time. 2D hardcore fans, this one will make you smile.

GOM Player

GOMmedia player is a seamless and simple player for your videos. Taking a wide range of files, it also works with free to download video converter that you can find on the GOMmedia player website.

Even better, it automatically searches for the appropriate codecs online, so in case you find yourself needing one, the GOM Player will get it for you automatically. The available codecs include less common DAT, MPEG, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF, AVI, and MOV, as well as more common ones like FLV1, AC3, OGG, MP4, and H263.

GOM Player includes a variety of customizable settings on the control panel. You can adjust a video’s image brightness, hue, and saturation. There’s also a built-in screen-capture feature that includes zooming and panning, customizable themes, hot keys, and a host of other presents with adjustable audio controls.
It “supports SMI, SRT, RT, and SUB(with IDX) subtitle formats. You can specify margin, location, size, resolution, font and others. You can also enable shadow, view ASF files with subtitle, karaoke subtitle mode. You can even synchronize subtitle and video if there’s any mismatch.”

GOMplayer also includes skinnable interface, ability to create your own playlists;so in addition to all of the available options there is just no reason why you should not give this one a go.

Format Factory

Format Factory converts your videos, audios, and pictures to a variety of handy file formats.

It can work with files from your mobile devices, MP3, AVI, #GP, RMVB and GIFFs, as well as other audio, picture files, DVDs and more.

Hook your camera up and download your files immediately in a format that you want.

The options section lets you choose the format, the file and where you want to save it. You can also choose whether you want the computer to shut down after the job is done or stay open, whether you want to be notified (i.e. with a sound) when the job is done and whether you want to minimalize or check the new version.

There’s codecs under advanced settings, but you’ll need to install these manually if you so choose.

FormatFactory seems to be particularly handy for those looking to change their video, short film, or presentation into different formats in order to display from their computer or to put a video online. Simply choose the format of the existing file from the left menu and wait a fraction of a second for a new window to appear. Click ‘Add’ at the top and highlight the actual file or video. Then choose the output format and destination.

The only little drawback of the software come in a form of less options that are available for pictures, audio files or other documents; for example PDF isn’t included. In a sense the Factory in FormatFactory refers to the work in does for your videos.

Murder in New York

Murder in New York is a great detective game for your PC. Help the Special Enquiry Detail crack the case and catch the criminal.

Here you are in charge of investigation of the murder of Phelps Carmody, socialite and daughter of a prominent New York billionaire known for his charitable work. You’ll find yourself immersed in the case as a New York City detective pursuing the truth.

Your job is not just to uncover, but also to protect and serve. It’s up to you to find the answers hidden within stunning scenes, tricky puzzles and cool mini-games that keep you on your toes for hours. This game aims and succeeds at being an immersive experience with graphics that accurately depict the big apple.

The game includes a walk through to help you work efficiently from the start and make sure you don’t lose the leads while trying to work out the rules and features. If you love working out a crime Agatha Christie’s style or fancy yourself on CSI, this game will grab you.

Virtual DJ

Virtual DJ is fully featured interface for aspiring mixers and DJs. It’s way more than just a toy for amateurs, with this one you get your creative juices flowing.
The full version is downloadable but paid for. The Free Home version includes nearly all the features of VirtualDJ Pro, with only a few limitations. It’s all you need if composing from your computer. You only need the full version to use any additional DJ hardware (mixer, turntable, DJ controller or video projector) in a club.

So if the free version is all you need get ready to create.

Virtual DJ is laid out more or less like a real deal. At the top of the window you’ll see two digital turntables, one blue on the left and one red on the right. Each one has the ability to cue, loop, adjust pitch, scratch and more. In the middle of the screen is the mixing console for volume and transitions.

That all sounds easy but to get your tunes smooth and put in those nuances that make a good track great, there are a lot of options and most of them are not easy to follow. The good news is that there is a thorough Users Guide available so you can master the craft.

Despite this or even because of the complex mixer console, the Virtual DJ is likely to be a great tool for those new to mixing as it reflects reality. It’s way more than just a toy! Learning through trial and error was fun, frustrating and illuminating – I thought music producers had it easier.

PC Decrapifier

PC Decrapifier removes unneeded programs from brand-new and used PCs. It takes you step by step, giving recommendations on what to ditch.

Software downloads often come with other add-ons or in bundles. But it’s not only what you’ve download that can be a burden on your system – new PCs come with pre-installed software that you might never even use. Most of them are harmless but if you have more than just few they just could slow down your machine.

For example, you might look at ‘decrapifying’ attached toolbars that come with cool free software, or simply a bunch of programs that we decide not to use and forget to uninstall.

The PC Decrapifier provides a wizard-like interface to help you select which programs to remove in one sweep. Nothing is removed before you approve and the interface is clear about checking this with you before it goes ahead – you’ll be shown a checklist of recommendations first.

Besides the time saving of manually removing programs one by one, the other advantage is that you get expert recommendation about what is not useful and what is slowing down the computer, so you are not guessing. You also get given the top applications others users have removed.

The PC Decrapifier is free for your home computer for personal use. If you are using it for commercial purposes on a regular basis it’s recommended that you upgrade to a paid version on a USB that can regularly and automatically decrapify your work computers.
The free personal version is ready to use straight away.

While downloading the software it will ask for your email but you don’t have to give it in order to proceed and, ironically, it will lead you to other pages to download things you might not even need – just ignore it; in the PC Decrapifier defense, at least they are not sneaking them on your computer.
