Remember 'pictionary" the boardgame where you draw a picture and your team mate must guess quickly to win. Imagine playing this on an smart phone or iPad and you've got the newest app sensation, Draw Something.

You are the artist and you are given a palette of colors and a word to draw with your finger on the screen. The object is to get your opponent to guess it correctly. If they do, you both get play money that can be used to buy new paint colors and brush shapes so essentially you are improving your skills as wells as the game.

This app is literally sweeping the globe bringing a classic fun game to social networking. iPad owners are in particular falling into addiction. iPhone phones and Androids have some limitations when it comes to the screen size that can be frustrating but they've still made it the world's number one app (overtaking Angry Birds).

Doxillion Document Converter from NCH Software converts documents to and from DOC, DOCX, HTML, PDF RTF, TXT, and WPD formats one by one or in batches of thousands.

Use the menu at the top, the right-click menu or simply drag and drop directly into the list. Then choose the output folder and type of format, press convert and away you go. You'll have even large documents in seconds.

Doxillion also converts pictures from different formats but add-ons were required for my little job (i.e. jpg to png) . These popped up quickly and free, and were just as easy to use.

Just a note, the software converts DOC to PDFs but not the other way around, you will get a message that it's having trouble converting pictures.

With all conversion Doxillion quickly processed the batch (drag a whole folder of docs in) and saved the output to the selected output drive.

It couldn't be simpler with handy option like Burn to Disc, Suite, Remove Files and Add Files right in front of you in the menu across the top. There's also a good HTML-based Help file (not that you'll need it) as well as buttons labeled Burn to Disc and Suite. Clicking Burn to Disc will download and install a disc-burning utility, while Suite opens the NCH Software Suite, a selection of the developer's titles.

Ultima 4 is the fourth in the Ultima RPG franchisee. It won numerous applauds for its shift in gameplay compared to the existing Ultima series and with a much better, concrete story-line. Initially released in 1985 for the Apple II, the developers worked and made the game available on more than 12 platforms as the time went by.

Developed and published by Origin Systems, the game was ranked at No.2 by Computer Gaming World in 1996 on their 'Best Games of all time' list. Even the game's designer, Richard Garriott considers this to be his personal favorite.

Ultima IV picks up from where the previous three Ultima titles left. Players are put in the city of Britannia, which is under the rule of the British. Instead of going out to finish an evil force, players are required to focus on the development of a more virtuous life and become more of a spiritual leader, setting an example for the people of Britannia.

The game follows the protagonist's struggle to understand and practice the Eight Virtues, that is, 1. Honesty, 2. Compassion, 3. Valor, 4. Justice, 5. Honor, 6. Sacrifice, 7. Spirituality and 8. Humility. Once the eight virtues are understood well by the character, collecting all the needed artifacts and entering the dungeon called Stygian Abyss, the player gains access to the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom, thus becoming an Avatar.

Moreover, players also have the option to interact with non-playing characters from time-to-time. Unlike previous versions, where the NPCs just gave a one-lined canned answer, in Ultima IV the interaction not only is vast, but players can also choose the topic of conversation for appropriate and accurate answers.

Overall, the Ultima IV is a great game and will hook players to their PCs for a long time with the varied gameplay and missions available. There are various versions available for specific platforms, so make sure you are downloading the correct file.

It was originally released as a commercial offering for Windows PC and Playstation in 1999, but on December 6, 2004, the source code and most of the data was published under the GNU (General Public License). This made all gamers around the globe very, very happy.

The game puts players in the midst of the 21st Century, when almost the entire civilization has been wiped out due to nuclear strikes. Most of the survivors encountered are organized in groups in order to fight-for-survival with all their might; among them one group called themselves "The Project". The Project is formed by people who have undertaken the job of rebuilding their civilization using pre-war technology.

Coming to the most important aspect and that being Gameplay, Warzone 2100 is very fluid and has a very nice touch to it on the whole (using the iViS 3D graphics engine developed by Sam Kerbeck of Eidos Interactive Ltd. ).The game world is mapped by a grid, vehicles tilt to meet hilly terrain, gun projectiles can be realistically blocked by steep mountains. The camera is free-moving and can zoom in and out, rotate, and pan up or down while navigating the battlefield, making the whole gameplay feel great and easy to navigate.

The game is one of the best open-source games available in the gaming scene now. Coming from a developer like Eidos, Warzone 2100 certainly lives up their gaming poweress and action hungry gamers will really not find reasons to complain. Making it a GNU release, the game is now playable on Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

So your choices vary from anything from the Demonologist, who collects human sacrifices and uses this ability to bring together the demons he can summon, to the Enchanter, who can bring the non living back to life. The other characters include, Blood-Thirsty Vampires, Insane Necromancers, Brutal Barbarians, Sinister Shamans and more.

Every character offers its advantages, but the drawbacks are no less evident. So the integral part of the entire game-play circles around the resources available in hand to the player, and the strategies being adopted according to the given situation.

Team Fortress Arcade is a retro side scrolling demake created by Eric Ruth and inspired by the popular online shooter from Valve, Team Fortress 2. Ruth has been known to take big name titles and giving it his own spin. He's the same guy who created side scroller versions of Halo and Left4Dead and even an 8-bit remake of DJ Hero.

This cool sidescroller has been winning raves from fans of the original game as well as those that are just discovering it. Like the original, the developer promises to include an online multiplayer function later on but for now players will have to settle with sharing their keyboard with a friend if they want to play co-op mode.

The game features tons of characters in different classes just like the original game. Each character has his own set of skills and specialties that you can take advantage of when bringing him into a firefight. The characters have a primary attack, a secondary one, a melee attack and one air or jumping attack. This gives you plenty of ways to take care of the enemy. If you're not familiar with the original game, some of the characters at your disposal include a doctor, an engineer, a spy, a scout, a soldier and a couple more.

Team Fortress Arcade has 9 levels worth of gameplay and an epic boss battle if you get that far. It's much like Contra or Double Dragon, where you have up to 4 players invading enemy territory. Although the game doesn't allow PVP just yet, the bots are fully capable of giving you a good challenge.

Even though the game still has a few bugs here and there (full screen option for Mac still has problems,) it's quite a fun and exciting game to get your hands on. The best part is that you can get all this goodness absolutely free! Definitely worth playing if you ask me.

There are only small drawbacks. On a Netbook or smaller device it can upload and download pretty slowly but it works and it worth the advantages of traveling light.

You need a new email and a new hard drive for each Dropbox so it's not convenient as a long term archive to replace existing system when you fill your 2GB. However, it would make a great short term archive.
