World of Tanks is a team based MMO where you are in charge of World War II tanks. The objective of the game is to take control, and since this is a multiplayer game, you need to be good at strategy and skill. There are more than one hundred tanks to choose from, and many more are being added constantly by developer Wargaming.net, so everything is always fresh.

World of Tanks is a very intense game, and gameplay combines intense action with the need to strategize like any war general. The game is divided into two sides, with each one capable of having up to 30 players with the goal being to destroy all the tanks of the opposing team.

There are more than 150 combat vehicles consisting of Chinese, American, French, British, Soviet, and German designs, giving you a ton of choices. While the emphasis is on action, there are also some RPG aspects to the game too, since you also have to think about what parts to upgrade. Also, you start out as a recruit with just a light tank, but dont worry as you play along and gain experience you will be able to upgrade and get more powerful tanks, get more ammo, guns, radios and other accessories.

The game is set in World War II but the years before and following the conflict is covered too and all the tanks and equipment are authentic and modeled after the real thing. World of Tanks is a very popular game, and you won’t have trouble finding people to play with anytime. The graphics are top notch and the sounds are very impressive, and definitely puts you in the right atmosphere.

Iron Man 3 by Gameloft is the official tie in game for the movie. In this endless runner game you control Tony Stark aka Iron Man 3. Technically this game is better described as an endless flyer as you go through obstacles and fight enemies, and the action is fast and frenetic and a lot of fun.

In this game the purpose is to collect Stark Credits so you can upgrade your armor and ability while trying to beat numerous enemies. The game is very easy to control as you just need to swipe and tap to attack robots, although the best method is to just keep attacking.

Besides the robots you also have to dodge fighter jets and missiles and in addition there are other objectives that you can play such as collecting an x number of credits of fly this or that length. This feature adds to the variety and prolongs its life.

Iron Man 3 also lets you go against some of the bosses straight from the comics, and what makes it interesting is that Iron Man needs crystals to go on, adding to the challenge. In addition to this, the game allows you to unlock and upgrade your armor. The graphics and sounds are very good and make it worth playing. Watching Iron Man fly through army bases can be quite exhilarating.

Not all games with movie tie-ins are good, but Iron Man 3 is a notable exception. There are IAPs here just like most free games, but that doesn’t take away anything in terms of playability.

Hill Climb Racing is a physics-based game. Created by Fingersoft, your objective is to maneuver your buggy on a perilous landscape, grabbing coins as well as canisters for your fuel. The game sounds simple but since it is physics based, it’s actually a lot more challenging than it seems.

All throughout the game you need to navigate around angular crevasses, narrow road bumps, peaks and valleys and so on. It certainly isn’t a cakewalk, but the feeling of satisfaction that you get when you navigate an obstacle is very good. If you fail though, your buggy will tumble down and you’ll hear the driver’s head snap, a humorous touch.

Also, you can upgrade your buggy with the coins that you have been collecting. With those coins you can buy a superior engine that will make it easier to get around those steep climbs. You can also use those coins to get new suspension so your buggy does not end flip over. You might also want to get new tires or just purchase a 4WD so you can advance further and ramp up your score.

Apart from the challenging physics, Hill Climb Racing also features different landscapes, so the game never gets old. Fortunately the difficulty level is progressive, so it doesn’t feel like you can never get over a level.

The game’s graphics are on the 2D / cartoony side, but they work well for the game, as do the sounds. Bottom line: if you are tired of those games that allow you to perform impossible maneuvers and want something more realistic, you won’t be disappointed with Hill Climb Racing.

Ghostbusters from Beeline Interactive is a simulation / action game where you control the Ghostbusters characters. The objective of the game is to build your HQ and you do this by researching and well, busting those ghosts. While it is not the first game to be based on the movie franchise, it is one of the best.

During the game you control the Ghostbusters as they go on their missions, with a map allowing you to select the next objective or go back to HQ. The Ghostbusters need to have energy to venture forth into those missions and this of course, requires regeneration.

You can control up to four Ghostbusters by pressing and dragging where they have to be and try to capture the ghost. This is not as easy as it seems, and you also have to remember that each Ghostbuster has specific abilities.

Part of the challenge in the game involves studying these traits and learning to use them properly. All the characters have stats that you need to keep track of. Even the ghosts have a health indicator and you need to bring it zero and then capture it. The mechanics of the game are pretty easy to understand and pick up, but the game becomes more difficult in the higher levels.

Ghostbusters, just like other free to play games, has IAPs that you have to pay for, but you can play the game without it. The IAPs are only for those who want to go through the levels and get cash quickly. You can actually disable the IAPs in the game.

Aion is a free to play MMORPG, originally released in South Korea but now freely available in Europe and North America too. In this epic fantasy game from NCsoft, combat and magic are the main elements, and you get to experience Player vs. Environment, and Player vs. Player. You can also choose from different classes.

Set in the fantasy world of Atreia, you have to chose between two factions and develop your character. There are four classes in the game, priests, mages, scouts and warriors, each with their own strengths and weaknesses so it is up to you to choose.

In true MMORPG fashion, you begin as a fledging hero and gain experience and abilities by going quests, killing monsters, going up against other warriors and when you are ready, fight a horde of dragons.

What this means is there is a lot of action, and it is accompanied by some pretty cool graphics, which are very smooth, and the sound effects are nothing short of crisp. But its real strength is the sheer size of its world, not to mention the updates and expansions packs that keep appearing. You can literally spend hours in a single zone as it has gigantic fortresses, towns, and landscapes.

The action in Aion is also very intense, spiced up by Korean-style combat, and the levels you can reach, player customization, fine turning of weapons, armor, are vast, much more so than other games.
Finally, the game has a huge fan base, so anytime you enter the game there is a lot of activity going on – the action never stops.

Hungry Shark Evolution is the latest version of the popular Hungry Shark games for the iOS and Android. The idea behind this game from Future Games of London (FGOL) is simple: you control the shark as it swims in the ocean, eating fish and scuba divers. It is as addictive as the other versions, and has few new tweaks to boot.

Temple Run 2 is the sequel to the smash hit Temple Run, and this time publisher Imangi Studios has upped the ante. The game now has better graphics, a whole bunch of power ups, new obstacles and enemies that make for an exhilarating gaming experience.

Just like the original game, you use the swipe controls to jump, turn and run and explore the environment. But in Temple Run 2 you are not restricted to making right angle turns. Also, the settings are more varied and you will see jogs, rises and dips as well as use zip line for speedy navigation. You can also get on a mine cart and blaze through the underground at breakneck speed.

Not only is the game more thrilling but the graphics have been overhauled. Even if you are moving at a fast clip trying to stay alive, it is impossible not to take notice of the visuals, particularly the fires and other obstacles that stand in your way.

Hambo is one fun action game for the iOS and Android. In this game from Miniclip you play a pig named Hambo and your goal is to blast your way through various levels and find your buddy. Unlike similar games, your weapons here are extremely varied, adding a different twist to the genre.

The story is pretty cool too; Hambo and his buddy Bacon just came home from fighting in a war. Some bad pigs abduct Bacon and Hambo goes on a mission to find Bacon, and he does this by killing all the pigs you can see. The game is a lot of fun, and one of the things that you will enjoy are the wide assortment of weapons available.
After you beat your enemies you will earn coins and get to move on the next level.

There are 200 levels here so this is not a game that you will finish off quickly. What makes the game challenging is the fact that in some levels you only have a limited number of bullets to kill all the enemy pigs, so you need to manage them carefully.

While there�s plenty of action, Hambo is rooted in physics, and you need to do a lot of trick shots and be creative to avoid failing bricks and other obstacles.

Hambo is not just a fun game but it doesn�t take itself too seriously either, so you will definitely enjoy it. The levels are well designed, and the new sceneries that appear will definitely keep you interested in it for a long time.

Subway Surfers is one of the more exciting runner / action games for the iOS and Android. With its smooth graphics and simple controls, you�ll have no problems picking up the game and having a blast. Created by Kibo, the premise is very simple; run as fast as you can and avoid the cops. It�s simple all right and a lot of fun.

In Subway Surfer, you�ll not only have to dodge the cops but must also avoid trains and other obstacles along your way. To help you out are numerous power ups that you can grab like hoverboards and jetpacks. While the gameplay is fast, you won�t have any problems learning how to play since the controls are standard.

To switch lanes just swipe left or right, and down to tuck yourself and double tap to activate a power up. The game is pretty challenging but it doesn�t have any of the sharp corners that come with other runner games which reduces the difficulty somewhat.

The power ups are also nice; apart from the jetpacks and hoverboard, there�s also a magnet that will draw all the coins near you, boots that will give you a speed boost and many more. But the coolest is definitely the jetpack as it gives you the ability to fly. The in app purchases are there, but they�re not required to play the game.

Subway Surfers also comes with several missions, which is a great feature, giving you something else to do aside from running as fast as possible. The daily challenges consist of tasks that you have to complete in a day, adding more fun.
