Orbiter is a free space simulator, and it is also one of the most realistic. This isn�t one of those space arcade games where you zoom around and shoot aliens. This simulator will show what it�s like to really be in space. Created by Martin Schweiger, it employs real life physics.

The game takes a while to master, but it�s definitely worth it. Orbiter allows you to recreate classic space flights via its addon packages like Vostok, Apollo, Gemini, Mercury and more. it even has the Space Shuttle which can be launched from Kennedy Space Center. You will also see the ISS (International Sapce Station).

Orbiter also has easier to fly fictional spacecraft which can help new gamers. Apart from recreating history, you can voyage on futuristic space craft and explore the Solar System and beyond. The major moons, eight planets and Sun are present.

Add-on packages include asteroids, comets and dwarf planets. There is even a planetarium mode. In this mode, you will see the moons and planets with labels and their location. Celestial bodies also indicate their interesting features.

Orbiter�s realism is such that planetary motion is modeled accurately. Orbital decay, atmospheric flight, free space and gravitation effects (including non-spherical gravity) are all built-in.

Orbiter has a vast user community and you can download add-ons made by other gamers. Users can deign their own rockets. Serious space flight students can learn about orbital mechanics. They learn by experimenting and playing the game.

Orbiter also comes with a 100,000 star database. In keeping with the realism though, you cannot do any interstellar travel. Orbiter is designed to run in Windows computers.

Tetriblox is a Tetris-like game but with some interesting innovations. Published by Random Salad Games, it combines classic Tetris with modern graphics and addictive gameplay. You have to make lines by organizing the falling blocks. You have to do this within the playing area. You get more points by creating more lines.

Tetriblox has two game modes and two control schemes. You can play with your buddies on the Web and match scores. The touch and button controls make the game easy to learn. One of the nice things about the game is the save feature.

You don�t have to start all over again; the save allows a player to pick up where they leave off. The game is compatible with tablets. The innovative gravity mode adds a different dimension to the game.

Old time gamers will love Tetriblox, as it harkens back to the days when the game was a hit on DOS. For anyone who has played Tetris before, they will become very comfortable with it. For those who haven�t this game serves as a great introduction. The gameplay is simple but can be very hard to master at the higher levels. This is what makes the game so addictive.

While challenging, you have good control over the blocks. There are a lot of paid Tetris-like apps, but his free game from Random Salad Games is as good as any of them.

Tetriblox has many similarities with Tetris of course, but the game has some very nice graphics and sound effects. The music is great and increases in pace as you reach the upper levels.

Simutrans is an open source transport simulator game. Your objective is to create networks of transportation. You are in charge of developing signals, tunnels, bridges, level crossings, quays and similar structures. The game is developed by the Simutrans Development Team.

You earn money by transporting people via high speed or commuter trains. The money you earn can be used to build even more structures. Simutrans offers electric, diesel and steam engines. These units have unique properties. You also control aircraft, trucks, buses, ships and ferries. You will even get the chance to build Maglevs and monorails.

By transporting people around, your city and the areas around it will prosper and grow. You will see buses moving around and trucks carrying cargo to and from. Management is not limited to vehicles. You need to be certain factories are stocked. They must have trucks ready to carry cargo and goods. As the area grows, new routes have to be generated. You also have to manage the city�s finances. All of these activities make the game quite addictive.

Pay close attention to industries, oil rigs, power plants and oil fields. It�s your job to coordinate all of these activities. Fortunately, the numerous vehicle options help with the task. You can even build airports and various stations. You can start in 1880 and go all the way to 2050. The ever changing nature of the game mean there is always something new to look forward to. As time passes by, you will see the vehicles and buildings evolve. There are dozens of transportable goods. The game currently has more than 40 industries.

Scramble With Friends Free is one of the most popular word games for the iOS and Android. The gameplay is addictive, and you can literally spend hours playing with your friends. The game was developed by Zynga, the same company that produced Hanging with Friends and Zynga Poker.

The game is easy to learn, but mastering it takes time. The app consists of a board with sixteen Scrabble letter tiles set on a 4×4 grid. Players score by moving their finger along tiles that are adjacent. Your goal is to form words (minimum two letters long). A single game has 3 rounds. You play each board individually. You won�t be able to see your opponent�s score until the round ends. As you win rounds, bonus points become available.

There are power-ups available for players before a round commences. These include �inspiration� where you get 3 words; �scramble�, where the board is rotated and you get another look; and �time freeze�, crucial because the game is timed. Players can use two power ups per round. The winner is the player with the highest score after three rounds.

Probably the only limitation is you cannot play Scramble With Friends Free alone. You have to choose one of your Facebook friends. You can also find players via their Zynga username. Those who have played word games before will love this game. Newbies can have a lot of fun with this one too. The graphics are nice and the high resolution is striking. There are also some pretty cool sound effects.

Another noteworthy feature of Scramble With Friends Free is its stability. The game runs smoothly even at a fast clip.

The Brain Age Game, as the name infers, finds out your brain age. It also trains your brain in minutes a day and is super fun for all ages.

It consists of a variety of tests for memory performance and problem solving using touch and voice function already on your phone to analyze your reflexes, concentration, memory and mathematical abilities.

Far more than a one off diagnosis, The Brain Age Game is a little tool on your phone that you can pull out while sitting on the train or waiting for an appointment. It features a heaps of different puzzles so you won’t get bored, some fun and some scientific.

If you’re one of those brain geeks who like to take IQ tests or match wits with a computer once in awhile to see who’s smarter, then you might want to grab Stupidness 2. This fun IQ game will throw you brain melting questions that’ll make you think twice about your own intellect.

The game features 35 questions, some of them are quite easy to answer while others will definitely leave you scratching your head.

Created by Orangenose Studios, the game offers a PRO version with more questions to the roster, but trust me, this free version is more than enough to make your nose bleed in certain instances.

The game is quite simple. All you have to do is answer the IQ questions and hope that your brain doesn’t melt in the process. What’s nice is that the answers to most of the questions are quite funny and it’s not necessarily the most obvious answer that’s right. I tell you, you’ll encounter questions that seem as if they’re designed to stump you instead of gauging your IQ.

Your best bet in winning though is to finish all of the questions within the time frame. Once you’ve correctly answered five questions, your clock resets and the game provides you a checkpoint in case you miss out on an answer in the future. Also, if you find yourself in a bind, there’s an option to ask for a hint. However, be warned, it will deduct a certain amount from your IQ points. Plus, if you take too long to answer, you’ll also get a deduction from your points.

The game is pretty entertaining but there are minor downsides. For instance, there’s no option to turn off the timer in case you want to answer the questions at your own pace. Moreover, once you’re fully done with the game, there’s really no point in playing again. Then again, you could still use it to quiz your friends or family members which could be fun as well. Overall, the game is perfect if you don’t take IQ games so seriously and you’re simply looking for some good time.

By The Power of Money is not exactly a game, per se, but more of an economic exercise. This interesting 2D platformer is different but surprisingly fun as well. It’s a bit challenging and takes time to get used to. However, ultimately, once you get a handle of the gameplay and the rules, it’s quite entertaining.

In the game, your goal is to rebuild a stage as you play. You’ll need to buy and lay down blocks, each one having its own unique property, but you need to do all this within your budget. The game is not just enjoyable but also tests your budgeting skills.

The game lets you start off with 5000 credits. For every block you buy or lay down, your credits will be deducted. While playing the game, you won’t be allowed to substitute current blocks with one that’s been sitting in your inventory. Also you are allowed to use just five types of blocks available from any particular level.

There are also guidelines for when you can actually use each block. For instance, only one green block can be used at any one time. Brown blocks are quite cheaper and they work great for creating platforms or bridges. Meanwhile, the white blocks are temporary. Those that have a number stamped on them indicate how long they will last before they disappear or vanish. Orange ones have the capacity to change directions every time they hit or bump into something while the purple blocks actually start moving in the direction that their arrows are facing.

The game is pretty much non-competitive, it’s perfect for those who like unusual games and the satisfaction of achieving something.
