Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is the sequel to the popular endless runner. Published by Adult Swim, this game has you in control of a robot unicorn that has to navigate platforms and go through star barriers. Just like the original this has well designed jumping, but the rest of the graphics and gameplay have been improved. In addition, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 has more enemies that will require to think and play fast.

Unlike the original, the star barriers here will actually fire before you get there, making things more difficult. But aside from more challenging enemies, it’s the graphics that have been fully upgraded from the original. It is very lush and the depth and textures have been increased. And yes, the bright pastel styling is still here, and it looks particularly good on the iPhone and iPad.

In addition to the lush graphic, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 lets you upgrade your unicorn, allowing it to fly, and this is a really nice feature as it gives you the freedom to move more quickly, although the precision isn’t the same. Other items in the game let you make short and long dashes, move faster and so on. Apart from these features Robot Unicorn Attack 2 provides additional challenges, allowing you to survive as long as possible.

Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is a very good endless runner game, and if you’re into this you would definitely like this one. It has a lot of nice features and it comes not just with cool graphics but also pretty good music too. It is quite simply, superior to the original in all aspects.

Iron Man 3 by Gameloft is the official tie in game for the movie. In this endless runner game you control Tony Stark aka Iron Man 3. Technically this game is better described as an endless flyer as you go through obstacles and fight enemies, and the action is fast and frenetic and a lot of fun.

In this game the purpose is to collect Stark Credits so you can upgrade your armor and ability while trying to beat numerous enemies. The game is very easy to control as you just need to swipe and tap to attack robots, although the best method is to just keep attacking.

Besides the robots you also have to dodge fighter jets and missiles and in addition there are other objectives that you can play such as collecting an x number of credits of fly this or that length. This feature adds to the variety and prolongs its life.

Iron Man 3 also lets you go against some of the bosses straight from the comics, and what makes it interesting is that Iron Man needs crystals to go on, adding to the challenge. In addition to this, the game allows you to unlock and upgrade your armor. The graphics and sounds are very good and make it worth playing. Watching Iron Man fly through army bases can be quite exhilarating.

Not all games with movie tie-ins are good, but Iron Man 3 is a notable exception. There are IAPs here just like most free games, but that doesn’t take away anything in terms of playability.

Sonic Dash from Sega is an endless runner game, and while it�s true that there are a lot of these on the iOS, this is more than just a Temple Run clone. The graphics are very impressive and gameplay is very smooth. Here you control the blue hedgehog as he goes through many of the obstacles in the game, and it�s a lot of fun.

The game controls are very easy as you swipe left, right, up or down to get past the obstacles. Swiping down will also turn Sonic into a ball and strike at his opponents. This �spin attack� is one of the most effective tactics in the game and one you will definitely be using.

Part of the game�s charm is the easy controls, as anyone who has ever played Sonic will be familiar with the controls. Also, the other elements like loop de loops, collecting rings and spin attacks have long been associated with Sonic, and it�s really nice they are all here. But above all, the game feels fast. This is a prerequisite for any good Sonic game and that is what makes this one click.

As far as presentations go, Sonic Dash is one of the best. Super Bit Dash combines elements of classic platformer games and the popular endless runner today. With its retro theme, smooth graphics and sounds, game developer Fakepup manages to pull off this unlikely combination. It�s not just an endless runner clone though, as there are elements her that make the game unique.

In the game you are a caped superhero who goes about collecting coins while trying to steer clear of pitfalls and obstacles along the way. You avoid this by using a variety of moves including being able to dash by swiping. Dashing gets you around more quickly, but this drains your energy quickly. The only way to replenish it is to collect as many of the coins as you can.

There are plenty of these coins in Super Bit Dash, so it doesn�t feel as if you are being shortchanged here. Collect enough coins and you will be able to smash through barriers, zoom past spikes, fly across gorges and more. These speed dashes is your main weapon so it is important to mange those coins.

The graphics are very good and capture that retro feeling nicely and if you have played these types of games before the controls will be very familiar. But what really makes Super Bit Dash stand out is the variety. While there are a fixed number of rooms per level, they are combined and selected randomly at the start, so it never feels like you�re playing the same thing over and over..

Super Bit Dash is an enjoyable game and one that retro fans will love. If you�re looking for an endless runner that is different, this should be up your alley.

Real Racing 3 from Electronic Arts sets new standards as far as racing games go for the iOS and Android. The graphics are incredibly detailed from the licensed tracks down to the cars. How good is it? The graphics look like pre-rendered cut scenes, except it is the actual game. Plus, with its Time Shifted Multiplayer feature, you can race anyone anytime even if they are not online.

There are more than 45 licensed supercars here such as Porsche, Bugatti and Lamborghini among others. After you download the game (you need 2 GB of free space) a racing tutorial will guide you through the basics of the game.

The tutorial will also explain that with the “Time Shifted Multiplayer� system, the vehicles in the tutorial were driven by actual people. Thanks to this feature, all races online are recorded so you can race against their �ghost� even if you or they are offline.

Ready to play? Just get any of the cars available. Temple Run 2 is the sequel to the smash hit Temple Run, and this time publisher Imangi Studios has upped the ante. The game now has better graphics, a whole bunch of power ups, new obstacles and enemies that make for an exhilarating gaming experience.

Just like the original game, you use the swipe controls to jump, turn and run and explore the environment. But in Temple Run 2 you are not restricted to making right angle turns. Also, the settings are more varied and you will see jogs, rises and dips as well as use zip line for speedy navigation. You can also get on a mine cart and blaze through the underground at breakneck speed.

Not only is the game more thrilling but the graphics have been overhauled. Even if you are moving at a fast clip trying to stay alive, it is impossible not to take notice of the visuals, particularly the fires and other obstacles that stand in your way.

The game has four characters that you can play and they each have their own special skills. Plus you can get power ups to boost their power even more. Among the most interesting are those is the shield that turns you invisible and a coin sucking magnet.

There are lots of endless runner games out there, and One Epic Knight is one of them. But this game from Simutronics is more than just a rip-off of other runners, as it brings something new to the table. In the game you play a knight who is going through a dungeon destroying orcs, smashing obstacles and collecting treasure all at the same time.

What makes One Epic Knight different from other runners is it has elements of combat built in – meaning you can grab swords and shields and slay enemies while getting multipliers. Shields won�t just protect you from enemies but you can use it to smash obstacles in your way.

Aside from running you also have to balance trying to use items for a score multiplier and saving them for use later. Because of this feature there�s more to the game than just trying to run needlessly and avoiding enemies.

As far as control systems and game mechanics go, One Epic Knight is very easy to use. Aside from running, you also have to do some strategizing, and make decisions, and the graphics are also pretty nice.

The graphics and sound are top notch, and there�s a fair amount of challenge here too. One of the things that separates it from other runners is that it uses swipe for lane switching rather than tilting, but you will get used to it in no time.

One Epic Knight has a more than a few in-app purchases, but they aren�t needed to complete the game. While gem packs can be bought, a lot of them can be collected to finish the game. If you like endless runners like Temple Run, you will love this one.

Subway Surfers is one of the more exciting runner / action games for the iOS and Android. With its smooth graphics and simple controls, you�ll have no problems picking up the game and having a blast. Created by Kibo, the premise is very simple; run as fast as you can and avoid the cops. It�s simple all right and a lot of fun.

In Subway Surfer, you�ll not only have to dodge the cops but must also avoid trains and other obstacles along your way. To help you out are numerous power ups that you can grab like hoverboards and jetpacks. While the gameplay is fast, you won�t have any problems learning how to play since the controls are standard.

To switch lanes just swipe left or right, and down to tuck yourself and double tap to activate a power up. The game is pretty challenging but it doesn�t have any of the sharp corners that come with other runner games which reduces the difficulty somewhat.

The power ups are also nice; apart from the jetpacks and hoverboard, there�s also a magnet that will draw all the coins near you, boots that will give you a speed boost and many more. But the coolest is definitely the jetpack as it gives you the ability to fly. The in app purchases are there, but they�re not required to play the game.

Subway Surfers also comes with several missions, which is a great feature, giving you something else to do aside from running as fast as possible. The daily challenges consist of tasks that you have to complete in a day, adding more fun.

In Ham on the Run by Glu Games, you goal is to help a pig eat veggies, run and jump on the heads of chickens. The controls of the game are very simple, in fact it doesn�t have any instructions when you start it up, as you�ll immediately start playing.

The setting is that of a carnival and you�ll see the pig simply running and running. If you want the pig to jump while she’s at it just touch the screen, and make sure you hit chickens� heads so you can get the bonuses. If you can hit four chicken heads consecutively, you will be taken into the bonus level where you can get more vegetables. These veggies can be used to get more bonuses and prizes from the prize wheel. This isn’t just a fun game, it also looks great, as the graphics are bright and colorful. Control wise it is very easy. Make some short taps for smaller jumps and tap longer if you want the pig to make bigger jumps. Make no mistake about it; this is an addictive little gem that is definitely a lot of fun.
