Developed by Italy Games, yes the same developer who have given Android their best Bowling and Chess game, Zombie Dash is another masterpiece on the Android market – offered for free. This is one game that is sure to hook users to their device for some casual gaming game.

The game takes 90% cue from the iOS game Jetpack Joyride by Halfbrick Studios, from the power-up methods, obstacles, shooting styles, the zombies, to the main lead. The other 10% that is the original take on the environment. Nonetheless, the developer manages to add a bit of panache to it and make it look more original than it might sound.

In-game, players are given the sole responsibility of saving their city which has been swarmed by brain-dead zombies and fight for survival at the same time. Gameplay is very intuitive and addicting with the inclusion of jump and shoot button equipped on either sides of the screen. Old-time gamer are in for a treat as the game allows for a total Mario like feature, under which players can jump on top of the other zombies eliminating them as well as hitting bricks to get the necessary power-ups.

Overall, this is a great game and a thumbs up is surely deserved by the developer for the awesome mash-up they have cooked up. The scoring point for this game would be the fact that Jetpack Joyride is an iOS exclusive, so Zombie Dash coming to the Android ecosystem just aims at capturing the market ASAP. Haven’t gotten enough of MMORPG just yet? Here’s another one you can sink your teeth into. Planeshift is a role playing game that prides itself for providing excellent graphics, great gameplay and completely free for download.

Pretty much, it has everything that an mmorpg has to have and then some. Immerse yourself into a whole new world and lead a life as a Vlian, Dermorian, Clan Hammerwielder or even as Diaboli.

Planeshift is released with a GNU license and absolutely do not contain any hidden costs. Once you enter the game, you are free to pick and customize your own character. The customization is taken into another level compare to regular rpg’s. For instance, you can customize the ancestry, birth date and even the fate of your character. Make friends and also create several enemies as you go on your way.

The entire game comes in 3D, hence, the graphics are nothing to complain about. Scenes and objects are beautifully rendered and pretty much detailed. For a game that is absolutely free,  the graphics is definitely commercial value. On the other hand, sound effects are pretty decent. Although not exactly spectacular, they definitely add a lot of depth into your gameplay.

Another thing with Planeshift that some players might find annoying while others would find liberating is that there are no maps or guides on where to go. Players must explore the town and places themselves. This includes visiting some of the most dangerous places without really knowing. Essentially, players will need to learn the game inside and out if they want to fully master and navigate through it.

Overall, the game is pretty good. As mentioned, the graphics are nothing to complain about but players might get annoyed by the lack of direction once they play the game. Then again, the entire point of playing rpg is to immerse oneself in a whole new world. This includes finding out what it has to offer even if it means figuring it out the hard way.

The game was developed by Com2Us, who already has quite an impressive feat of games in their portfolio. This developer makes games not only with great play-ability factor, but also integrates quality into the final product, with minimum bugs or lag.

Intoia 4 brings to players 6 different classes of characters (including Dark Knight, Priest, Warlock, and Assassin) and 90 skills to learn. Additionally, players will also have access to over 400 maps for exploration of various terrain like dry deserts, freezing snowfields and dark dungeons. Inotia 4 does feature some in-game ads that randomly pop up in the menu on many occasions. The game does feature a few in-app purchases, but during the course of gameplay, it is safe to say that they are not necessary and players can pull through the game without paying any heed to it.

Character development has been paid quit a bit of detailing, with every character in-game speaking in a modern tone. Overall, Inotia 4 will not disappoint any RPG fan to say the least. The game has its own share of flaws, but the updates are quite timely and with a few bug fixes, things should go the lag-free way.

Being an Indie project created by Radu Privantu, it really crosses all expectations and will surely put a big grin on MMORPG fans’ faces. The game just launched the version 1.8 last year, meaning that the game was in Beta since 2003. That is one huge Beta period folks.

Though in recent times, MMO games have heated up the entire gaming scene, players are still interested in getting a slice of this one, as there are a number of features not available on the newer breed of MMO games, and that is more than a bonus in itself.

Coming to the graphical interface, one of the strongest points in the game, Eternal Lands will leave a player speechless, keeping in mind of the fact, the game has been developed and created way back in 2003. The graphics certainly do not leave you gaping when compared to the recent games, but nevertheless, it does keep one happy.

Players have full control when it comes to selecting their race, gender, and the characters appearance upon start of the game. The races in-game are: Humans, Dwarfs, Elves, Orchans, Gnomes, and Draegoni (dragon people). Aside from the name of the race, nothing physically separates these races from one another. There is a bit of catch here, as players have full-access to only three races initially, the other three races, namely Gnomes, Orchan and Draegoni have to be purchased separately, which is a downside.

In-game skills are very important as they decide the course of the entire gameplay. There are a total of 12 different productive skills which should aid players in their journey. These skills include Harvesting, Engineering, Summoning, Potion-Making, Alchemy, Ranging, Crafting, Tailoring, Manufacturing, Magic, Attack and Defense.

Overall, the game is dated, but still has its own personal touch. Eternal Lands is a game that is strictly for the MMO fans and not the time-killing casual breed of gamer. Being free, it is a definite must try.

In the game, players assume the role of Buck Crosshaw, who has now become an outlaw due to a wrong conception and now he fakes his own death, and escapes to Arizona. His escape does not provide him with solace, but brings upon his head a dozen of more dangers, perils and evil. All this due to the ancient evil forces that loiter around the mysterious hilly region of Arizona.

Six Guns is developed as a Sandbox genre game, giving players the full ability to explore the very well architectural designed Arizona and Oregon. The places are full of events, mysteries and challenges which slowly unfold as the game progresses. A big thumbs-up to Gameloft for the wonderful thinking implemented in the gameplay.

As far as gameplay goes, players will be immersed with over 40 missions to be accomplished. Further, to keep things interesting, players also get the full chance to ride horses, overpower robbers, combat against a wave of enemies including outlaws, vampires and various other supernatural foes, and many more hurdles come along the way. The gameplay is massive without a doubt, but for a mobile game it is anything, but boring. To speak the truth, the game really got me hooked for a long time. It is that great.

The players who want a sense of achievement will need to unlock 8 different horses, 19 weapons, and an array of clothes for that perfect touch of customization. This game does not support syncing with Game Center, but Gameloft Live! really seals the deal with social gaming, trophies and some serious bragging rights.

Overall, the game is a class apart with the graphics and intuitive feedback, and really raises the bar for other developers offering paid app with the same content. It is treat time for all hardcore gaming fans who have a penchant for eye-candy visuals. The app being an universal one will benefit the iPad as well as the iPhone/iPod Touch clan.

The controls of the game are as simple as 1-2-3, so it is just a simple swipe and tilt controls that weave the entire magic in the game. The surroundings are very well etched and visually appealing, this adds up the brownie points that this game deserves. The game features numerous crazy power-ups and offers a plethora of options to level up the character, as per the players choice.

The developers claim to have incorporated an original 3D running mechanism, involving turning, jumping, sliding and tilting that is first of its kind in a game. I did not notice a big change, but nevertheless the game feels very responsive and at par with some of the high-end HD titles up for offer.

The game gives the player an option to play as 7 different characters, including Zack Wonder, the football star and Francisco Montoya, the conquistador searching for the fountain of youth. Temple Run syncs with Game Center and provides some very cool compare features with friends.

In the game, Citadels are special structures that help in the recruiting of units and their deployment. The citadels range from castles, wooden watchtowers, and even large cities.

Conquest of Elysium II offers a rich game-play and up to twenty different character classes to choose from; each one sporting their own attributes and special abilities. So your choices vary from anything from the Demonologist, who collects human sacrifices and uses this ability to bring together the demons he can summon, to the Enchanter, who can bring the non living back to life. The other characters include, Blood-Thirsty Vampires, Insane Necromancers, Brutal Barbarians, Sinister Shamans and more.

Every character offers its advantages, but the drawbacks are no less evident. So the integral part of the entire game-play circles around the resources available in hand to the player, and the strategies being adopted according to the given situation.
