Hip hop recording artist, DK aka Wayne Watts debuts his latest release, 20 Something. The album combines positive rap lyrics with great beats and a catchy hip hop vibe. The artist has collaborated with several prominent artists, both in the hip hop scene and outside. He has also recently opened for The All American Rejects. The artist has released several albums and mixes under his belt ever since he started out. Among his initial efforts, he released a full length album, That's My Boy (between 2003 to 2007.) This compilation is the most recent one Watts has to offer and it's definitely a solid collection of beats worth checking out.

It's suitable for both Windows and Mac, making it easy to use regardless of your operating system. The program provides you with a cool and unintrusive shortcut that will help launch all of your important applications. You can easily organize files and folders without any trouble. Best of all, the system is absolutely free and can also be easily stored in your USB for portability. Appetizer has won several praises and accolades some of which include "freeware of the month" by Updatestar last year and among the "top 10 launchers" for  Clubic.

The Night Terrors: Nasty

Hauntingly beautiful 4 track EP that's offered absolutely free. If you are a big fan of alternative indie Brit rock and equally love anything about the dark side, then this is a great EP to have. These 4 tracks from The Night Terrors will definitely send chills down your spine with its upbeat rockish tempo and hipster vibe. These Northern Londoners definitely know how to give out a good scare as well as great music to anyone that's up for a bit of good time.

Jable’s Adventure

Developer Jason "Jajitsu" Boyer has come up with one of the most entertaining, not to mention very funny little platformer called Jable's Adventure. It's about a kid who has a squid on his head. The squid suddenly shows up one day and proclaims Jabel to be the hero. Meanwhile, Jabel is curious about this "hero" thing and decides to go along. He then sets off  in these adventures where he bother's mermaids, shoots bears and other weird creatures. This fun game contains amazing graphics that  you didn't even think was possible in pixel art. Even better is that the game contains an awesome soundtrack (which you can download separately) as well as great gameplay. It's a bit short at under an hour, depending on your speed, but it's definitely a fun play. So if you have nothing better to do, have a go at playing this highly entertaining platformer.

Maria Rodes: Sin Tecnica (Without Art)

Spanish singer and songwriter, Maria Rodes, has released her latest album, Sin Tecnica. Now, I know that you might not want to listen to an album where English isn't the main language, but trust me, this is a worthy album. Maria Rodes creates folkpop indie acoustic tracks with a slightly alternative edge. Her voice is beautiful and her compositions and melodies are very pretty. Her tracks masquerade in simplicity yet are very rich and diverse.

Strange Attractors

Strange Attractors is a fun and imaginative puzzle game that lets you control the force of gravity using a single button. Yes, you heard that right. All you need to do is press one little button to play the game. Don't think that it's going to be simple or utterly boring though. The game incorporates unique graphics and creative gameplay that will certainly give you enough of a challenge. It was released a couple of years back to great praises. It has become quite popular and already has a successor, Strange Attractors 2.

John Q: Sunrise

John Q is not a single person but instead a collective of musicians who enjoy playing alternative pop rock and penning tunes that focus on songwriting and storytelling. With Sunrise, the group showcases what they are best at, creating alternative mellow tracks that people can relate to. Each cut on the album narrates a special story that helps listeners feel good and reflect on the lyrics. It's an album filled with easy listening tracks that are worth listening to.

LexJongg

Fancy a game of solitaire and mahjong rolled into one? LexJongg combines the gameplay of solitaire with that of classic mahjong pieces. The game is pretty simple and just the perfect diversion from a hectic work pace. LexJongg, according to its creator, was created in about 9 hours or so. Pretty impressive feat if you ask me. It's a decent game with simple and basic graphics. Nothing too fancy, and just right for a quick play.

The Wind Whistles: Animals Are People Too

The Wind Whistles is an amazing indie folk pop duo from Canada comes out with their sweet and dreamy second release, Animals are People Too, under indie netlabel, aaahh records. Known for catering to artists that create great acoustic folk pop, sure enough this duo falls under the same category. With their melodic acoustic guitar, poppy chants and harmonic vocals, this album is filled with luscious, soothing sounds that will take you away into some beautiful poppy field and leave you basking under the warm glow of the sun. Definitely an album you can't miss out if you love aaahh records' roster.
