Nine Inch Nails: The Slip

The Slip is the seventh album by American industrial rock act Nine Inch Nails. The album was released free of cost on May 5, 2008 via digital download on the official Nine Inch Nails website. The album was produced by Trent Reznor alongside Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder. The album features vocals and traditional song structures, unlike its 2008 instrumental predecessor Ghosts I–IV.

According to the band, the album combines their signature rock sound with “elements of pop, dub and soul and draws influence from artists as diverse as The Beach Boys and Marvin Gaye to Interpol, The Doors, Traffic, Pink Floyd and David Bowie.

After a production period of over six months, this short film premiered in the hip new Amsterdam cinema ‘Studio K’ and is now available for everyone else to freely enjoy and share.

An underground New York hip-hop producer, Cartel, brings his music genre back to its roots in his newest release ‘Tha Throwback’. He describes the music he produces as “grown man hip hop” for the real-life adults, who are working to support their families and “want more from their music than just (listening about)(…) sleeping with women, selling drugs, and shaking their booties.”
