However,<strong> Ivan Dubsky<\/strong> &amp;<strong> Great Skies<\/strong>&#8216; <strong>Session Vol. 1 EP<\/strong> is not your typical ambient collection.<\/p>\n<p>Hailing from UK,<strong> Ivan Dubsky<\/strong> and <strong>Great Skies<\/strong> are two ambient music producers and old-school friends who decided to make some music together. Released last June 22, this 4-track collection legs up ambient garage on a higher level.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"position: relative; display: block; width: 400px; height: 100px;\" src=\"http:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/v=2\/album=1087795846\/size=venti\/bgcol=FFFFFF\/linkcol=4285BB\/\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"400\" height=\"100\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Intro track <em>Hard To Find<\/em> approaches with an ethereal aesthetic. It&#8217;s deep and rich with some perfectly-placed beats. It repackages the old lazy ambient to something that&#8217;s soothing with the right dose of energy.<\/p>\n<p>Boasting a plethora of glowing harmonies,<em> Bokeh<\/em> offers an eargasmic experience. Opening with a stripped down electro atmospherics, each element is added along the way allowing ample time for each sound to grow and\u00a0disintegrate.<\/p>\n<p>Taking on a more upbeat vibe, <em>Change Your Mind (Feat. CoMa)<\/em> may be the most upbeat track on the album. Close your eyes and let this sonic gem take you on a psychedelic high.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, <em>Cat &amp; Mouse<\/em> seals the collection with piano keys\u00a0embellished\u00a0in ghostly vocals. I love how the fragility of the voice paints a stark contrast on the deep, sometimes rapid drum beats.<\/p>\n<p>As a whole, <strong>Session Vol. 1 EP<\/strong> creates a whole brand from its familiar territory.
