This leads to a listening experience that is seamless and captivating.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Composed of members <strong>Dan King<\/strong> (guitar), <strong>Ethan Koozer<\/strong> (guitar), <strong>Kevin Dye<\/strong> (guitar\/vocals), and <strong>Mike Maroney<\/strong> in the string section, with <strong>Dan Crapanzano<\/strong> on percussion, <strong>gates<\/strong> doesn\u2019t sound like one member is drowning out the other. They sound well put-together and you get a sense that the band understands the importance of everyone\u2019s role in their musical process. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tH_gASI6dsA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Another standout in this six-track release is <strong>At The End of All Things<\/strong>, a track that builds up like a postrock song \u2013 heavy on the guitars, catchy drumming and full of ambient atmosphere. It is short, clocking only at 1:36, but it definitely packs a punch. It weaves its magic on you the entire and has this hypnotizing effect that catches and releases you instantaneously. <\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fHZSQNRPoWI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Given the notoriety of New Jersey when it comes to producing punk\/hardcore\/emo bands, gates doesn\u2019t disappoint.
