Dense guitar chords and heavy drumming are essential factors, but the EP relies more on its catchy sing-along hooks. The \u201cwoo-hoo-hoo\u201d from the opener <em>Offer Up My Love<\/em> is downright infectious, and so is the \u201cyeah, Yeah, Yeah\u201d from the title track.<\/p>\n<p>The band\u2019s sound is rooted in blues rock and americana. Artists like <strong>Tom Petty<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan Adams<\/strong> are often brought to mind and the third track, <em>Follow My Lead<\/em>, sounds much like a tribute to <strong>Wilco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/noisetrade.com\/service\/widgetv2\/55a3ed07-1668-4404-a6e1-872c7a9bfb2d\" width=\"300\" height=\"375\" scrolling=\"no\" frameBorder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Good Life is the first in a series of EP\u2019s that the Midnight Pilot will be releasing in 2016.
