There is no shortage of news sites on the web, and often the problem is deciding which ones to follow. If you are having trouble keeping up to date, you can try SQUID News and Magazines. Think of this as a news feed / aggregate app so you can keep updated of the information that matters to you.
There is no need to sign up or register to use SQUID. When you launch the app, you will see several topics such as motor, tech, sport, food and drinks, movies, news, gaming etc. Tap to follow the topics you are interested in and the app will update you automatically.
If you no longer want to follow a topic, just un-follow by tapping the box next to the topic. The plus sign at the top right on the main screen displays all available topics. Just look for the ones you are interested in, tap the box and the news will be delivered to you.
SQUID has a smart view news reader that makes reading easy. But the app also has an option that lets you read the news item from the publisher website. Another helpful feature in the app is that it has multiple language support. Tap Settings and choose one of the other languages available.
Did you find a news item and want to share with friends? SQUID has options for sharing on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS or email. Want to add a note to the article you will share? Just tap the SQUID icon at the bottom and choose one of the tools there.
