Angry Birds Star Wars II from Rovio Entertainment is the sequel to the smash hit original, and this time there are more birds that corresponds to the Star Wars characters, some really engaging gameplay and plenty of levels to go through. In addition you can now join the “pork side” and lead the villains to victory.
Angry Birds Star Wars II plays like the original, where players fling the birds on the pigs, but now you have more birds matching Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jango Fett, Darth Maul and a host of other characters. And as noted you can join the Force or the Pork Side. Whichever side you choose the game mechanics have not changed much, and it is as enjoyable as the other Angry Birds games.
You have probably played some version of Angry Birds before, and if you have this will be very familiar in terms of control and this isn’t a bad thing. You just need to use those slingshots to hurl the birds into objects and kill as many of the opponents as you can while using as few shots as possible.
The first Angry Birds Star Wars games had birds that resemble the characters from the original Star Wars movies, but this game gives you characters from the prequel movies like Anakin, Padme and many others like Count Dooku and General Grievous. All in all there are more than thirty characters you can play here and each one has special skills you can use. When you join the Pork Side you can play as Darth Maul and use his double-bladed lightsaber, or you can rely on the Jedi powers and take structures down easily.
