Even though their name is a bit hard to pronounce, Fool Dadaz Fire can certainly create great jazzy and soulful tracks. The band creates music that’s easy to listen to and not very hard to love.

CNSM Sessions#1 is a short album, clocking in just a little over 30 minutes. Each of the 7 tracks were recorded in just one night, capturing the rawness and the great interplay between the instruments and vocals. It’s an easy listen for all you jazz, blues rock lovers out there.

Confused at what to label their music, Fool Dadaz Fire finally settled in labeling it “soul musette” since the soul is essentially what binds each of them together. The band is made up of Jean-Christophe (guitar, vocals), Tonio (bass), Fred (Sax), Nico (drums) and Remi (guitar).

CNSM Sessions #1 opens up with a Mardi Soir, or Tuesday Evening,  a mellow, acoustic track with great vocals to match. It’s a great tune to listen to when you’re sipping that cold beer and passing the time away. On the other hand, Cette Vie, “This Life” is the perfect song to cap the album. It’s slow and quiet, perfect for close dancing with somebody you’ve been eyeing for awhile inside the bar.

You can download three of their albums, including this one under a creative commons license. The perfect sound for jazz and blues lovers alike.
