Whether it’s a concert, conference or something completely different, you get the information here. This app also provides event organizers with information about their events.
There are three major parts in the app: Friends, Popular and For You. Tap Friends and you will see what events your buddies are headed to. Popular shows you the hottest tickets in town, while For You contains events and happenings Eventbrite suggest for you based on the interests you mentioned after signing up.
The app uses your Facebook account for the Friends section, and it also relies on your phone’s GPS to get info about the events nearby. Basically you just tap to see what’s happening around you, and information about shows and events are clearly displayed as well.
All the essential details like venue, price, show time, dates and images are included. You can also filter the results so it displays only say, events happening on the weekend. When you select an event, you will see a description and information on how to get there via Google Maps.
It should be pointed out that Eventbrite focuses on small scale events like conventions, music and so on. If you find an event that interests you, just tap Register and get the tickets. Follow the instructions, and if you want, you can invite your pals via Facebook too.
