Kaiser Chiefs

Kaiser Chiefs: World Cafe – NoiseTrade EP

The Kaiser Chiefs has suffered a great change in their band line up when their drummer, Nick Hodgson, decided to call it quits via an unexpected exit. Shots were fired, explanations were given and now that the air has cleared, The Kaiser Chiefs can go back to the thing they do best – make good old rock ‘n roll music.

The New Economy: To Wake Up From a Dreamless Sleep

The New Economy is a three piece indie rock band from Germany that play music like they have been listening to a list of A-list indie Brit rockers all their life. They conjure up a mixture of danceable, catchy, and rockish tracks which is capped off with Brit sounding vocals. To Wake Up From a Dreamless Sleep is the trio's second full-length and most recent record. It comes with 9 easily likable tracks that are both dancy and even melodic in places.

The Transisters: Under Control

Solid rock base with an electronic twist. If there's one band I could compare The Transisters with, it would have to be another indie band called She Wants Revenge. Although plenty of Joy Division similarities is also enough to make you think twice. The Transisters crams new wave/hipster sound with electronic beats; creating excessively danceable, catchy tracks that still rock out. Under Control is the band's debut album and features 9 easily likable songs. They have had quite a background and have opened for indie big wigs like the Raveonettes and new wave band Kaiser Chiefs.
