Electric Sheep is a free & open source screensaver created by Scott Draves. It is by far the most beautiful and captivating screensaver I've ever came across. It not only generates amazing images, but it does it "on the fly". When the computer "falls asleep" it starts communicating and collaborating with thousands of computers around the world morphing computer animations known as "sheep". The result of this constant transformation is what some call a collective "android dream", an reference to Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?".

I'm truly excited to have the opportunity to introduce Black ELement and its free album A Major Minority to the FrostWire community.
I first had the chance to listen to this album last year and it went straight to my iPod because of Black ELement's innate energetic talent to rap and to make really good hip hop. It truly stands out from the hundreds of wanna-be-rappers we've had to listen to in order to make our FrostWire featured picks every month.

Taken from the torrent's description:
In the shadow of the culture industry's final crisis of the 20th-
century, grows a larger portrait of the POwr, broccoli and Kopimi. Each step of the culture industry's failures is followed by the
uncanny successes of the structurally diffused spread of an Internet elite, spread worldwide. The book you're about to read has no author, no designer, no translators, no distribution channel. Nevertheless, you have it in front of you. How did it happen?

The Respondent EP by the Chicago and Stockholm based Resplendent/Downey is certainly one oldy-but-goody release, in internet years anyway, and certainly one of my all-time personal favorites. Released in the summer of 2007, this 3-song digital EP which is available for download here, coagulates a massive amount of feeling and idealism, that is beautifully transmitted in a mix of electronic music and good, heartfelt vocals. If I had to name the genre of this EP, it would definitely have to be "emo-tronic."

Barry Schwartz makes a passionate call for "practical wisdom" as an antidote to a society gone mad with bureaucracy. He argues powerfully that rules often fail us, incentives often backfire, and practical, everyday wisdom will help rebuild our world.

Andy Wagner's third album, “Those Who Forgive”, is a melodic rock six-song EP from Rock Proper, a net label devoted to distributing quality rock albums covered under the Creative Commons license. "Those Who Forgive" is indeed a "quality rock album" - it's a bit on the slower, more melodic side with a touch of blues and maybe even country here and there. Andy's deep melancholic voice and his down to earth lyrics will make you stop, relax and contemplate their meaning.
