The All-in-One Sidebar (AiOS for short) is a free plugin for Firefox that lets you open several windows in the form of sidebar panels and switch among them. Created by Ingo Wennemaring it is a nice alternative to the standard add-on window for Firefox, and it also has many other functions.
This nifty little add on can do a lot more than just arrange windows though as it provides you with access to your Web-development tools, plug-ins, downloads, bookmarks and histories, and all with just one click. What really makes the add on stand out is that you can use it with other extensions for Firefox to increase its functionality even more.
With this add on all your extra content becomes available at the sidebar. With just a single click of the sidebar menu, you will be to able switch easily. In simple terms, it gets rid of the clutter that usually comes when you have a lot of extensions for the browser.
After you install the add on it will show up as a panel with a bunch of icons at the left of your browser. But you can adjust the settings so that it will collapse on one tab. To expand, just move your mouse over it.
AiOS is an extremely versatile add on for Firefox and it makes the browser very effective, much more than it already is. It is a complete utility, well made and really makes Firefox much easier to use. It’s free so it is definitely something that you may want to try.
