Paramount has announced that the live-action movie version of the popular and multi-awarded TV series, The Last Airbender, will be released on July 2010. M. Night Shyamalan (of The Sixth Sense fame) wrote and directed this much-anticipated film about growing up and saving the world. You might think that Avatar is for kids but think again - it has actually gained a following from all ages because of the well-written story interwoven with a sense of humor that everyone can relate with.

Confusion is Next is a four-person alternative rock band. The band, which takes its name from a lyric by Sonic Youth, was established in Monza, Italy in 2004, and has since created and released three albums. Their first album, "Spread the Spirit," was released in 2005, while their second album, "Lost in Dark Days" was released in 2008. Their latest release is "The Generation of This Order" contains five new songs (in English) and album is now available for free download on their Spanish netlabel Trastienda.

James Cameron (director of Titanic and Aliens) makes a comeback with Avatar, a 3D science fiction film epic set to be released on December 18. The story centers on Jake Sully, a paraplegic Marine who was sent to a distant moon called Pandora. The fascinating world is filled with exotic flora, fauna, valuable minerals - and a race of sentient humanoids called the Na'vi. Unwittingly, James is recruited to be a genetic hybrid of human and Na'vi, an Avatar. The mission of the Avatars is to exterminate the alien race. Soon enough, James gets caught in a struggle which can determine the fate of an entire species and their world.
