RSSOwl is a free multi-platform news feed reader that makes it easy to arrange your news and search for specific items. With this program you can sync your articles and subscription list. The program supports multiple tabs so the news feeds can be arranged side by side, and that’s just one of its features.

While RSSOwl can open multiple tabs, you have complete control over how many tabs you want opened, and you can opt not to use the tabs at all. RSSOwl also has an embedded browser so you can read a news entry on the source site, and you can also open websites using its address field just like any browser.

The Group News feature on the other hand, allows you to group a feed’s news entries by feed, author, date and other properties, very handy if you have a lot of news feeds. if you want, you can also switch to Newspaper View so the content is displayed in full. In addition to these features RSSOwl also lets you perform other functions like marking read news, adding stickies and more.

The program also has keyword feeds from Flickr, Delicious, Technorati and Google so you can receive about topics you’re interested in. RSSOwl also has Saved Searches, allowing you to use search like a feed, as the feed results here are search results, and if there are news items you want to keep, you can create News Bins, and news can be moved or copied no matter what the feed is. There are a lot more features here, but it’s very easy to use.
