Mike Falzone licenses his music to MTV
Mike Falzone is one of the first artists we promoted on the FrostWire welcome screen. In the short time we featured his 'Fun with Honesty' album, he got well over 30,000 downloads on P2P. Now it's our pleasure to let you know that he has just licensed some of his music to MTV and his songs will appear in the upcoming seasons of The Hills, The City, Made and Parental Control.

Sean Fournier publishes Musical Slide Show made of fan taken pictures
Sean Fournier was the first artist to be featured on FrostWire when FrostClick/FrostWire promotions start last November 2008. His album has been downloaded by at least 36 thousand FrostWire users.

Georgia Wonder opens up for Remix with Creative Commons
We just found out from the Creative Commons blog, that Georgia Wonder has made available it's song "The Girl You Never Knew" available for REMIX under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License via the Mixable website.
The song has been made available on WAV and AIF file formats, you can get the vocals and backing separately at Mixable.

Georgia Wonder among Top 20 of The Pirate Bay's Music Torrents
This is a screenshot of a Twitter update made earlier today by the band Georgia Wonder, which agreed to promote their free ep here on FrostClick.
We think they've done well over 35 thousand downloads so far, but since the torrent is being tracked by The Pirate Bay, we can't tell exactly how many downloads it has received so far since this number is not made public by TPB. (If you guys do track download numbers internally, it'd be awesome if you made an exception and told us)

Universal Indie Records shares their promotional experience on the P2P network
As of this writing Cartel's album has received over 29 thousand downloads, currently over 100 people are still downloading (at the same time), and over 850 are still actively seeding it even though another artist is being promoted.
From each weekly promo, we learn new things, and we'll learn more if other artists choose to share their experience as nicely as Universal Indie Records has done it. We'll be updating our Promo Contact page with new tips thanks to Cartel.
