Tired of not being able to see your computer screen thanks to the little post-it notes and reminders that have filled it up? If you are, then you might want to get Stickies as an alternative instead.

Stickies is a PC utility that you can use on your computer screen to jot down notes and other important tasks that you might want to do and remember throughout the day. It works just like a regular sticky note except its posted right in your computer screen. No more messy computer screens for you!

Stickies contains plenty of great features like alarms, different colors and sizes, network sharing and a nice function where you can attach the note to a particular window. Like most sticky note programs, Stickies will remain in place even if you reboot or restart your computer. Of course, some people still love to use Post-It Software Notes Light but Stickies has far more advantages compared to the latter. For instance, the alarm function is very handy for those who easily forget they have certain tasks to do at a specified time and date. Other benefits include being able to handle text as well as images, integrating with other applications, and even sharing notes with any other computer over a TCP/IP network. Best of all, you can customize the notes according to your taste and it’s all for free.

The program is very simple to use and very functional so you won’t have to worry about figuring it out. If you accidentally “delete” a sticky but need the important info it has, then you can easily retrieve it. They don’t exactly go away until you completely delete the note. At least you won’t have to go dumpster diving if you lose a physical sticky note with important info.

Overall, the program is only less than 1 MB and uses up about 20 MB of RAM. Sure, there might be other sticky notes programs that are much lighter but with all the features Stickies provides, it will definitely be worth the space.
