There are few things more enjoyable than blowing up things with a tank, and that’s what Tank Hero is all about. Developed by Clapfoot Games, it’s a simple tank shooter that gives you the power to blow stuff up with missiles, and you must also destroy other tanks to move to the next level. It’s simple but fun.
The main menu lets you select options to change some settings, check your stats and the game mode (campaign of survival); with the stats telling you how many points you have scored, the kills you have and the game time. At the options menu you can change where your tank shows up on the screen and how you fire weapons. For the most part though, tapping to fire is the best way.
Gameplay is a lot of fun, and there are several levels you can play, with each world having a survival and campaign mode. What makes Tank Hero tick is there’s variety in the gameplay, as there are different enemy tanks to deal with, and some are capable of shooting missiles or even over walls.
The early levels are quite easy and get you into the game, but Tank Hero gets tougher as you go on. At the later levels you’ll face tanks with homing missiles that will chase you, but no need to worry though, as your tank has plenty of firepower too. While there are more than a few tank games on mobile, Tank Hero is still one of the best and something you will want to try.
