Dubmood is a crossgenre Swedish chipmusican who started creating his chiptunes on modarchive back in 1996 and "The (Mighty) Pirate Sessions Volume 1" is his first MP3 release he created entirely on an Atari.
As his MySpace bio quotes "he has been composing chipmusic for various crackgroups but residing with the infamous Razor 1911, by FBI described as the oldest software piracy ring on the internet. Since 2004 he has been performing live, both as a Electro-DJ and Chipmusic livesets, alone and in different coalitions.

Today something for the more graphically advanced. I am not a Photoshop pro, but I've noticed playing around with brushes, textures and backgrounds is very enjoyable for me. They allow me to create compositions 100 times easier and faster and at the level I would never be able to achieve by using just the defaults in Photoshop.

The Dogs is a fresh band from Chicago. They started playing together in the summer of 2008 and very quickly released their debut album. They are giving it out free to spread the word about their music and gain some new fans.
There are 8 songs on the album - my favorite is definitely "27 Years Ago" - I find it strangely uplifting.

After DJ Z-Trip and Shepard Fairey (the guy responsible for the image on the right) threw some fundraisers for the Obama campaign, DJ Z-Trip decided to put the mix he's been playing during the parties online for everyone to share. That's how the Obama Mix Pt. 1 (2008) came to life.
When Obama won the presidential elections, DJ Z-Trip was contacted by MoveOn.org. They asked him to create another mix for their email blast they were doing before the inauguration. “Victory Lap: The Obama Mix Pt. 2” is DJ Z-Trip's way of congratulating everybody for electing Obama to the office.

Jaydiohead is a mashup album of Jay-Z and Radiohead produced Minty Fresh Beats aka 22-year-old Max Tannone.
Jaydiohead has already been mentioned on "Last Call with Carson Daly" as well as MTV and The Source and it is getting a lots of press & reviews slowly becoming the new internet 'thing'. I believe it's popularity spiked mostly because of the celebrity status of both Jay-Z & Radiohead, but it is definitely worth checking out. It is definitely interesting to hear how those two very different music styles come together.
