Speed Forge 3D

This one is for all Android users with a love for speed running through their veins; so yes, if speed is what you need than Speed Forge 3D might just be for you. Developed by RatSquare for which the title is the first one to be released on the platform, it seems they have done quite a decent job. Speed Forge takes place on the planet Mars in the year 2142 with a good dose of crime taking place all around. Also, due to the heavy growth of industries, there has been an increase of the number of colonies and inhabitants, and special vehicles with heavy-duty armor has been used to help miners in crushing rocks with explosives.

JT Bruce: The Dreamer’s Paradox

Animator, artist, filmmaker and musician, JT Bruce, is one tough act to follow. He describes himself as having an "eye for the bizarre and an ear for the unusual" and this clearly shows in his music. For The Dreamer's Paradox, Bruce creates a complicated yet hypnotic compilation where progressive music resonates. This is the second record for the artist. The album itself is a bit old, about 5 years today but it still manages to impress plenty of listeners out there. His first album, Anomalous Material, gained quite a response and this one is no exception either. However, the artist noticeably takes his sound a little deeper, creating more diversity and layers to his instruments unlike before.

MyCar Locator Free

How many times have you parked your swanky new car in an unknown crowded area, walked away and after an hour it just hits you, "Dude, where is my car?". Happens quite often with many. Well, this problem has been solved and the misery of an owner ended with the MyCar Locator Free app. Developed by Nomadrobot, this company has really tapped the potential of this app not only with class features, but by offering it for free. The app really makes a "drifting" mark on Android.

Oh!Hello: Spooky

Oh!Hello's follow-up to their delightful EP Beachy, is a curious thing. They have already collaborated with other NW bands such as Grifflin Taylor (Faire du Surf) and Ed Hanson (Greate Horned Owl). Their latest set Spooky is a seven-track album released last October 27 and recorded under Vampire Factory.

Stories Of A Hollow Earth – Peter Fitting review of Ludvig Holberg’s “Journey Under the Ground”

In 1741 the Norwegian-Danish author Ludvig Holberg published Klimii Iter Subterraneum, a satirical science-fiction/fantasy novel detailing the adventures of its hero Niels Klim in a utopian society existing beneath the surface of the earth. Peter Fitting, author of Subterranean Worlds: A Critical Anthology, explores Holberg’s book in the wider context of the hollow earth theory.

Tin Armor: Life Of Abundance

Tin Armor is a folk pop band from Ohio. This quartet creates lovely piano infused rock that brings to mind great melodic rock artists such as Ben Folds, Jeff Buckley and The Band. N (Metanet Software)

One of the most addictive and sometimes frustrating game you can ever play, N is an award winning title that involves tons of jumping, climbing, running and all those other cool ninja skills. The game was created by Metanet Software back in 2005 and won the audience choice award for the Independent Games Festival that same year. Today, the game has spawned a console (multiplayer) version for the Xbox Live Arcade, the Nintendo DS and the PSP titled, N+. N was originally offered as a flash game but you can download it now onto your computer. There's a version available for the Mac, Linux and of course, Windows system.

The Box Tiger: The Box Tiger

Upbeat, exciting and energetic. Those words best describe Toronto's The Box Tiger, an indie rock quartet first started back in 2009. Although fairly new in the game, they've managed to release more than just good debut and has garnered an impressive amount of listeners despite being only 2 years old. Led by founder and frontwoman Sonia Sturino, the band has an inherent maturity both in their sound and instrument playing. Many of the songs included in this self-titled EP are well-constructed, not to mention very catchy.
