Just when you think you’ve heard the best, Reality Suite’s Avoiding the Red Lights comes along to remind you that good music doesn’t have any limits.

Hailing from New Jersey, Reality Suite is composed of long-time musicians Miriam Pinedo (Vocals), Joe Padula (Guitars), Brian King (Drums/Synths), and Antonio Valenti (Bass/ Vocals). The four-piece super group describes their music as a fusion of classic rock and modern dance.

Released last April, their second musical project Avoiding the Red Lights, offers sumptuous alternative rock and party tracks.

Save My Life fittingly serves as the album’s intro. Aggressive drum and guitar tunes perfectly blend with Pinedo’s sturdy vocals.

Following with good for ear beats is Sinking In, an edgy up-tempo track that will surely make you move. On the other hand, She Wants Revenge is a shining example of flawless experimentation. Straightforward verses are toned down with healthy doses of dance and electric melodies. This is the ideal backdrop for a chill-out party.

Take, Take, Take is laced up with stellar rock tones. While The Red Lights approaches with sexy steady grooves that will slowly bite your ears.

As the album closes up, the band treats us with their own rendition of David Guetta and Nicki Minaj’s Turn Me On. They gave the track a club and rock-induced sensibility which, afterall, is Reality Suite’s brand of music.

Avoiding the Red Lights is a well-executed album that flaunts style and substance. Reality Suite has left the listeners under their spell for a very long time. And for that, I offer a hefty high five!
