Colony Attack is a space strategy game from publisher Geek Beach, and you’ll have your hands full building a fleet, exploring the vast reaches of the universe and yes, battle and destroy enemies. You are the chief of your fleet and whether your fleet scurvies or not is up to you.

Colony Attack is a bit similar to classic 90s strategy games but has more polished graphics. The game begins with you on a bleak looking world and it here that you have to construct facilities and of course build a space fleet which you will use in battle and exploration.

The graphics are very nice, with the ships presented in 3D and you can build more by getting your hands on nanites, the in-game currency, and if you earn enough of these you’ll be able to upgrade both your ships and structures. Once your space fleet is ready it’s time to explore the galaxies, attacking other players, pirates and other entities along the way.

At the end of each mission you will earn bonuses and more resources to upgrade your fleet. There’s actually a lot going in the game, and it can be very addictive. There is a lot of detail here and you need to keep track of all them. But anyone who has played this game will tell you how enjoyable this is. Colony Attack is a space strategy epic, but unlike other games of this type, it never feels like you’re forced to micromanage things, which is nice for those new to this type of strategy game.
