Drive for Speed Simulator from Play 365 isn’t exactly a simulator in the strictest sense. It’s more like Grand Theft Auto where you have to do missions under various constraints. It’s not the first of its kind on the Android, but it’s one of the easiest to pick up.

The game’s interface makes it easy to navigate and figure out what to do. First you choose the car you want and buy it. Once you’ve made your choice, select the controls and off you go.

There are four control options, but the simplest has left and right arrows on the left of the screen, and you tap these to go in the direction you want. During the early missions you’ll just be required to go from point A to point B, and this is good as you’ll get a feel for the game and the controls.

As you drive around there will be directions above telling which way to turn. These can be helpful for a beginner, but over the long run, it’s better to just follow the red dot. The red dot is your target for that particular mission, so just go for it.

The default view is from the third person, but you can change this to in-car by tapping the camera. The most challenging aspect of the game is the sensitivity of the controls. At first you’re going to take a lot of bumps, but over time you’re going to get the hang of it.

If you like racing mission laden games, you’ll love Drive for Speed Simulator.
