Their first album, We've Been Strangers, was released back in 2007 and was a haven of infectious riffs and indie rock goodness. Pulse News

There are a lot of news readers for the iPad, with most having the same interface. Pulse from Alphonso Labs is different. It’s not just the unique interface; there are also distinct features in this app. When you start this RSS reader, you’ll see that it makes good use of the iPad’s generous screen. Navigating the app is pretty easy. News feeds are scrollable. To see more, move vertically. One of the nice things about Pulse is the pictures, ideal to liven up your news reading. News items can be read in web or text version. In portrait view, the entire screen will be reserved for reading. In landscape view, stories can be read side by side. A new feature lets you keep track of stocks.

Mansion Closets: You Always Do This

When Damien Verret and Julian Lyndell collaborate in a musical project, expect nothing less. Mansion Closets' debut album entitled You Always Do This is a cosmic universe of pure unbridled bliss. Released last September 19, 2010, this nine-track set is the product of many late nights and home recording sessions. The album's catalog of music has been flawless so far, kicking off with I Hope You Like Spider Pellets, a charming yet playful song that showcases Lyndell's very sweet vocals. Her voice plays along the likes of Tracyanne Campell (of Camera Obscura ) and Regina Spektor.

Tiny Tower

Tiny Tower is one of the most popular games for the iPhone, and understandably so. For one thing, it is very simple to learn; you build a tower and maintain it. Only minimal skills are required. Every time you play the game, you’ll progress. But there’s more to this game from Nimblebit of course. Your goal is to provide work for the Bitizens (the tower’s residents). It is like a virtual ant farm. You start with one tower and a lobby. If you go through the tutorial, you will be able to create your first floor and the production floor.

Pic Stitch allows for high resolution export and can be saved into albums.
