10centSunday “Avid” – acoustic rock mini album from Nickle brothers

No covers, all original. This is what the 10centSunday is all about. They had created almost 40 different songs in wide variety of genres, but they have only recorded 3 songs for their first album. The band is mainly composed of 2 people, both guitar lovers and brothers, David Nickle and Adam Nickle. Avid, their first album is composed of their demo songs, featuring their talent in mixing acoustics and alternative. Adding, their charismatic vocals, guitar playing skills, and heart-felt lyrics, the brothers will surely captivate your heart!

FreeCiv – a free and open-source alternative to Sid Meier’s Civilization

Are you the kind of person who wants to rule over the world and go through the history of how our civilization has come to life? Or maybe somebody who just wants to pass time and build these and those while at the same time having fun controlling his or her own empire? Look no further: FreeCiv might be the game that would make you sit in front of your desktop or laptop for hours and hours to come.

Maya de Luna “Bar Stim.Art” – Cool Live Jazz with Bossa hints

One of the things that I love to do is to laze around one afternoon while reading a book and listening to good jazz music. While most jazz music features instrumental piano, drums and saxophone hints, Maya de Luna and Bruno Stimart paired up for this absolutely lovely live recording of jazz with hints of bossa nova. It makes you feel like swaying left and right as you listen to the music, with applauses and little dialogues in between songs.

Manu Chao & Radio La Colifata’s “Viva La Colifata” – Radio Crazy

Quick. Grab everything you know about what a music album should be. Now, grab everything you know about what music should be. Got it? okay. Put it in a box and hide it under the bed or tucked in a closet where it'll be safe from Manu Chao's latest musical project "Viva La Califata." Recorded in conjunction with Buenos Aires' notorious radio station, Radio La Colifata which is notorious by being staffed by current and ex-patients of a psychiatric hospital in the area.

L. Frank Baum “American Fairytales” (author of The Wizard of Oz)

American Fairytales is a collection of 12 fantasy stories written by L.Frank Baum. This book is not as well-known as Baum's Wizard of Oz or Father Goose but it is just as enduring as the two for its satire and dry wit, two startling elements for a fairy tale book. Baum abandons his trademark high fantasy for a nonsensical but wildly imaginative book about curious little girls, majestic polar bears, enchanted candies, and treacherous butterflies.

Macon Greyson “This Machine Kills Hypocrisy” EP

“The maturation process is always ongoing, but we as a band have finally grown up. We are not worried about where we fit anymore. We are what we are,” says Macon Greyson. Further affirming their identity as a band is the newest EP called "This Machine Kills Hypocrisy". The four-track album is a perfect mix of gritty rock and melodic country with no inhibitions and most importantly, no confusion. After nine years since its birth in a small bar in Dallas called Adair's, Macon Greyson has finally found the right balance between a 70's rock sound and a dollop of country dirt - true as ever to their Southern roots.

Celestia – an open-source free space simulation software

Don't you wish you can just fly outside of Earth and into the universe? Explore the other planets and the nearby stars, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a comet or an asteroid? It might not be possible now to tour the Solar System or the universe (unless you are a billionaire!), but you can do this in the comforts of your home right in front of your computer. Celestia is an open-source space simulation software that lets you explore the universe in 3-dimension - stars, galaxies, planets, asteroids and a whole lot more! And the best part? It runs on Windows, Linux and Max OS X.
