Super Monday Night Combat (SMNC) is a free MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) shooter. Published by Uber Entertainment, it’s a third person shooter that was inspired by games like Warcraft III and Defense of the Ancients, but with its own twists. You have to choose between two teams who will then fight it out and destroy each other’s Moneyball.
The game starts with the matchmaking system that selects who will participate in the match. 5 are chosen for Super Blitz and 10 for Turbocross and Super Crossfire. The selected players are divided the Iceman and Hotshots teams. Now you can choose which character to play.
The goal in SMNC is to crush the opposing team’s Moneyball. You do this by pushing the bots in their lane and going through numerous turrets. After the bots reach your opponent’s turrets, their shield will be brought down and you can wipe out the Moneyball and turrets.
The more enemies and bots you destroy, the more experience points you will get. This will allow your character to develop more skills and get an upgrade too. You will also make money or credits that you can use to generate more bots, buy stuff at vending machines to boost your health and give your character extra speed. These upgrades will also give you access to extra buttons and controls that you can use on the map.
SMNC gameplay is very fast, and the multiple game modes give you plenty of options. Very popular now is Super Blitz, where 5 players take on the game announcer who sends bots towards them to destroy their Moneyball. In short, it’s a blast to play.
