Nelson O: Bacharengue

The Grammar Club: Bioavailable

The best is yet to come for The Grammar Club, an alternative hiphop collective group that's comprised of rotating musicians with different styles, creating albums that are distinct with one another. Lead by Beefy and Shae Riley, Bioavailable is a seven-track collection that features a great lineup of guest vocalists such as Adam Warrock, Wheelie Cyberman, Jesse Dangerously, MC Frontalot, Wordburglar, and Kabuto the Phyton.

Sweetheart: Map Of The Human Heart

Contrary to their name, Sweetheart isn't a band that does mushy, lovey-dovey music. Instead, what you'll hear when you put on their record is a mix of hipster, new wave music that's filled with jangly guitars and shouty vocals. If you thought The Strokes on first listen, well it really shouldn't be a surprise since the band does list them as among their influences. The group is made up of Canadian quartet, Matthew, Marty, Sammy, and Weezee. Map of the Human Heart is their debut record and it's filled with upbeat cuts that deal with various relationship issues.

Farkus: Naked Eye Astronomy

Appearing for the second time here in Frostclick is the Illinois alternative melodic rock band, Farkus. They first graced the pages of the blog with their debut album, Thought You Should Know. After receiving solid feedback and polishing their sound even further, the quartet is back with a fresh set of tracks that they're offering for free download right here on Frosclick. Naked Eye Astronomy is a set of 8 tracks that echo the band's characteristic melodic altrock sound. Their sound is more polished compared to their debut record but it still resonates with that hardcore rock and roll feel along with some well-put together lyrics. Expect prolonged guitar riffs, heavy drumming and some melodic rhythm to grace your ears as you listen to this one.
