Spring Ninja

Spring Ninja is one of the latest from Ketchapp Games, and while it bears some resemblance to classic platform / sidescroller games, it does incorporate some original elements that make it fun. The premise is to have your ninja jump a specific distance, and while it sounds simple enough, it’s the reason why this game is addictive.

Daddy Long Legs

Daddy Long Legs from game developer Set Snail has a very simple premise: get a hairy creature called Daddy Long Legs to walk, but because his legs are so long, it’s kind of a challenge. It doesn’t sound like much, but Daddy Long Legs is actually very addictive due to its very simplicity, and also because it’s so hard. Every time you fail though, you’ll want to give it “one more try”.

Tank Hero

There are few things more enjoyable than blowing up things with a tank, and that’s what Tank Hero is all about. Developed by Clapfoot Games, it’s a simple tank shooter that gives you the power to blow stuff up with missiles, and you must also destroy other tanks to move to the next level. It’s simple but fun.

Papi Jump

The best games don’t have to be complex or have eye popping visuals, because more than anything else, it’s the gameplay that matters. Papi Jump from Sunflat Games is a good example of that, because it’s the very simplicity that makes it addictive: While it’s basically a jumping platform game with a rubber ball, it’s a lot of fun.

94%

94% is a puzzle game from developer Scimob, and if you’ve seen the Family Feud game show, you’ll have a pretty good idea of how it works. If not, the objective is to find the most popular answer given by 100 people who were polled for the question, hence the title 94%. It sounds simple enough, but there are some challenges here too.

The Bot Squad: Puzzle Battles

The Bot Squad: Puzzle Battles from Ubisoft is at its heart a tower defense game, but the way it’s set up and played makes it feel very different. If you like TD games but looking for something new, this could be what you were hoping to find. Think of it as a game that keeps everything you like about tower defense while adding sweet new elements to make the play that much more interesting.

The Silent Age

The Silent Age from publisher House on Fire is a puzzle adventure game that moves back and forth from the present day to the 70s. You’ve-probably played games like these on the PC, but the features and interface are designed specifically for mobile devices.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is the latest edition of the popular series from EA. The previous games have been very popular, and this latest release builds upon them. Numerous improvements have been added, and the graphics have been enhanced for both the Android and iOS platforms.
