Radia

Radia from developer KimoWorks is a small app that lets you listen to Pandora radio off your Mac’s menu bar. Unlike other mini players for the OS, this one isn’t just 100% free, but there are no ads too.

Kevin Michael: LISA

Kevin Michael is at it again with another spunky mixtape. This time, we’re revisiting his 13-track collection, LISA, which stands for “love is so amazing”. The concept album, put together with the help of Michael’s longtime collaborator Brian Kidd, is a lite nostalgic affair that takes you back to the glory of the 2009-2010 musical period: pulsating beats, ‘swagger’, and ultra-smooth harmonies — elements that currently proliferates today’s top 40 picks.

Pop The Corn!

Pop the Corn is one of the most interesting games for the iOS, and developer TabTale has really pulled out all the stops to make a simple but addictive game. All you need to do is make popcorn and pop them. That’s all there is to it. Pop The Corn isn’t complicated, and there’s no complex strategy to work out, but it is still a lot of fun.

Luke Gallant: Unplugged EP

Off we go to another EP filled with more relaxing acoustic tunes. Not much is said about Luke Gallant the musician — either Google won’t return our queries, or the search giant can’t pinpoint which one of the similarly-named dudes is the real one (or both). However, we’re sure of one thing: the one who’s crooning in this EP is a really talented guy.

Autographed Apologies: Change With The Seasons

This Valentine’s season, an acoustic record is somewhat of a required listening. We’re passing the baton to Autographed Apologies, a relatively new band of the alternative/punk rock breed. Taking cues from popular contemporaries such as All Time Low and Something Corporate, the boys are trying the gain renown through the “fan favorite route”.

Backyard Monsters: Unleashed

Backyard Monsters Unleashed from publisher Kixeye is something that should be familiar to Facebook users, and now it is available for the iOS. This is a village building / combat strategy game that will provide you with plenty of challenges and addictive gameplay, and it is free to boot.

Get Olde: Crying

I’ll just cut to the chase and tell you that Get Olde from up-and-coming indie group Crying might just be the best 8-bit indie rock you’ll hear in months. Hailing from New York, Crying consists of Elaiza Santos (vocals), Ryan Galloway (guitar/game boy), and Nick Corbo (drums). In this seven-piece collection, the group introduces a fresh new way to appreciate chiptune. Their sound’s distinct, quirky attitude is infectiously addictive.
