Radia from developer KimoWorks is a small app that lets you listen to Pandora radio off your Mac’s menu bar. Unlike other mini players for the OS, this one isn’t just 100% free, but there are no ads either.

Radia does not need flash to run, and you can also use the Apple Media keys to manage the player, dislike or like a song, pause, play and do all the other things you usually do with other media players. As you play songs, the cover art, song name and other information are displayed, and you can play from any of the stations in Pandora.

The app also lets you sort stations by title or date. There are plenty of options here, but the settings make them easy to pick up. In addition to having a clean interface, it doesn’t hog a lot of resources, perfect if you are running a lot of applications already and your notification center is stacked.

There are plenty of other positive things you can say about Radia, but a lot of users will definitely like the fact that the ads in Pandora will be disabled by the app, and it will also get rid of the song limit that restricts your fast forwarding. Bottom line is this: Radia is a powerful application that allows you to fully enjoy Pandora without the ads and other distractions.
