Sébastien Gramond: It’s A Beautiful Death [2009]

Beautiful 70s style pop psychedelic jazz rock that your parents can relate to. It's A Beautiful Death is a compilation of 16 beautifully crafted tracks that echo the psychedelic 70s, and yes, it does somewhat trigger the same effect as how you would imagine it to be if you were on some illicit substance. Sebastien Gramond is a French multi-instrumentalist that certainly takes things to a higher level. His music is fun, enjoyable and easy to listen to no matter what type of music you're into.

Mental Repairs Inc.

Mental Repairs Inc. is perhaps one of the few true blue psychology games out there. It is the second game from German indie developer Renzo "Eshaktaar" Thönen and it's as promising as his first game, Murder in a Wheel. Mental Repairs Inc., lets you play a "machine psychiatrist," allowing you to assess and fix the mental state of machinery around you. Yes, machines are equipped with A.I. in the future so your job is to make sure that they are in the proper mental state.

The Sway: Going Blind EP

An almost guaranteed Top 10 indie pop rock band. Thirteen years after they parted ways, The Sway, reunites to give this whole music thing one last swig. And from the looks of things, they have succeeded. They went on hiatus again for two years after this mini reunion and as of April 2010, they were back in the studio penning tracks for a new album. For the meantime, the band definitely left something great behind for their fans to enjoy, Going Blind. This is actually a 3 song EP that would make even current so-called "indie pop rock bands " a run for their money. Their indie rock sound is definitely worthy of praise, not to mention a slot in the iPod.

Fast action scenes, fires, landscapes & complicated facial features - all you could expect from a multimillion animation studio, but done by a small, international team of creators working on open source, free software with a budget of $550k.
